I have been going to Studio 44 since its beginning and have always had the best service. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed and everyone is very accommodating and professional . My stylist (Gayle) has worked with me on my many different hair style and color journeys and always made sure I was totally satisfied with the results. I always look forward to a few hours of pampering at Studio 44.

I had no idea that there was a Covid charge, I was taken off hard at such a large increase. I understand , just finding out when paying was a little disappointing! I now know it was posted BUT I never saw it. It wouldn’t have changed me coming it just would have been nice to be told, that’s how it has been in the past. Thank you 😊

Dear Darlene, thank you for your review and expressing your concern. We did post it on Facebook. However you not knowing is the issue and we are sorry. It was a last minute decision. We had many calculations to factor before implementing the added charge. You’re right, we would always inform clients in the past. Unfortunately, as you know so much has changed. We have not had an increase in prices in three years. If it were up to us we would never raise them. They are simply necessary to remain operational. Now more than ever. Regardless, We would like to extend a gift card to use in your next visit. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience. We appreciate your support!!!

Ashley did a great job on my hair today. I wanted something a little different and she completely understood what I wanted and made other suggestions too. The shampoo lady was pleasant also.

I was pleased with precautions taken to clean surfaces I came in contact with, including my credit card when paying. As a client who has a cousin who is a recently retired ER doctor who has done medical missionary work which has included work with SARS, another COVID virus, I have received a lot of personal advice which has been helpful in keeping me safe and healthy. I am seeing at my own workplace front desk staff who are intermittently with clients do not see a need for continual use of masks or continued wear of masks covering their nose. What would be helpful for staff to know is that COVID virus enters the air as an aerosol. It then floats and circulates/travels as far as cigarette smoke would for up to 3 hours, but unlike smoke has no odor. So covering the face when speaking with clients is helpful but minimally helpful compared to constant wear. My only other comment is that I do understand your operating costs are up, but $42 plus an $8 tip is very expensive for a cut only, no styling and I chose to wash my hair and come in with it wet.
