I tried Salon Dione for the first time recently and I am not happy with my haircut. The ends were cut so bluntly (no blending whatsoever) and I didn’t notice it as much when I left the salon because the stylist dried it so nicely, but it looks pretty awful now that I’ve washed and blow dried. I wanted to try a new place closer to home but I’m going to stick to my Aveda salon. I considered calling and asking if someone else could blend the ends better, but I chose Rebecka because she gets the best reviews! Yikes! So I definitely don’t want to take another chance with anyone else there. I decided between her and Eka based on Yelp reviews. I also don’t want another cut now because I don’t want my hair much shorter (she definitely took off more than the one inch we agreed on). So I’m hoping I’ll become accustomed to this cutand it’ll grow out ok, and then return to my former Aveda salon in about 6 months. Also, Rebecka was a little too chatty and asked too many questions for my liking (got a little too personal for a first time meeting). She was overall nice and I could adjust if she gave me a great haircut, but she was not what I’m looking for in a stylist and was disappointed with the salon and my experience overall if I’m being perfectly honest.
