I had booked my appointment online for a specific stylist but was given someone else at appointment. I like the online booking option however I would have liked our usual stylist.

Response from Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids

Thank you for bringing this to our attention and I am very sorry that your visit didn't go as it should. We are still working through some kinks with the new online booking so it would be very helpful if we could know some more details. In an effort to fix the problem, could we please know the name used on the appointment? We do have many stylists requests so we want to get this problem solved for you and many others who will be using this feature. Usually the appointment screen indicates the request but clearly that did not happen. Did you let the receptionist know? I am confident that, had we known, you would have been given the stylist that you requested. Again, my apologies. Please email me back at: minicuts.cccoh@gmail.com. I look forward to your reply. Sincerely, Alison Celentano (owner)

Well, since you asked...For having such a warm environment, I was surprised that no one greeted us or acknowledged our presence. We walked in with our twin 1-year olds, signed up and waited (all fine) but then when names started to be called for service, no one acknowledged us at all. When I walked up again to the front desk to say we were just in for a bang trim, and had called earlier and were told to be walk-ins, I was told that "writing bang trim in the appointment helps a lot." I did not know as it was my first time here. I looked at my nanny, who said that this woman was so rude. Although these are small things, they so add up.

I am very sorry to hear about the poor service you received when visiting our Dublin location. I appreciate that you took the time to let me know about this. We rarely hear about a problem but are glad that you are giving us this opportunity to address this issue. Being a first visit, of course you would not know and someone should have taken the time to greet you and explain. We are a family owned business and truly do strive to make every experience a terrific one. Clearly, we did not achieve that. If you would at all consider emailing me your contact information at minicuts@cccoh.com I would like to extend a certificate for both of your children to come back in the future so that you can experience how we usually operate. I promise you will not be disappointed. I hope to hear from you. Sincerely, Alison Celentano (Owner)

I felt his hair cut could have been better. The price was really high for what I got.

I was happy with the overall environment (the lady on the phone/who greeted us was SO pleasant!)--I love that my kids could associate getting their haircut with a fun positive environment. However our hair tech (her name was Dawn) was really NOT great with my two year old. I can appreciate that she wanted to do a good job and get it done right, but instead of talking my daughter through what she was going to do, she’d just jerk her head around and it freaked my daughter out. She seemed frustrated and impatient the entire time, and really rushed, despite the fact that (it seemed like) it was a slow morning—only one other kid in the salon. I am usually happy to pay the difference when I choose to go to Cookie Cutters vs Great Clips assuming that the tech tries to help my two year old feel at ease, not just focusing on perfectionism (bc lets be honest, she’s two and her hair’s a little crazy all the time anyways!). So that was an off putting experience and makes me feel like I might as well just try Great Clips and bring my own lollipop reward at the end.

The person who cut my grandson’s hair did a wonderful job and it wasn’t easy because he was crying the entire time. My only complaint is that she was very short with me and a little rude.

Typical problem with his haircut is getting rid of the shelf on the back bottom portion of his hairline. Stylist kept giving reasons on how that's not possible instead of offering solutions. But this happens all the time

Response from Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids

I am very sorry and concerned to hear about your experience. I rarely receive a negative comment and would appreciate the opportunity to fix the problem. Can you tell me who your stylist was or your child's name so that I can determine who it was that did your child's haircut? I would also like the opportunity to make this right for you and your child. Please call me at (614)580-3711 or email me at minicuts@cccoh.com. My name is Alison and I am the owner. We truly want to make this right and make you happy. Our customer service is of the utmost importance. I hope to hear from you. Thank you.
