The hair stylist left all the hair from the back much longer than the front. Very bad cut.

This is our first visit to cookie cutters. It was bizarre, I have been to other salons for my haircut but I was never treated like that and was surprised the lady treated my daughter that awfully. To treat a child like that by pulling hair and moving her rudely is weird to look at let alone experience. I am sure it might be the fault of professional who gave us service but never going back there.

I just left a cookie cutters on sawmill road in Columbus oh and had a very bad experience. The hairdresser was very rude. She was a foreign middle aged lady and didn’t seem to understand what I was explaining. She started shaving his hair where I just wanted it to be cut shorter. At one point she tried to hand me the clippers and said “ you show me how to do it then”. Another worker overheard and came to ask me some questions of what I wanted. The rude hairdresser threw up her arms and said “I’m done” and walked away. Another hairdresser had to redo and finish his haircut. The second hairdresser was very helpful and I believe she was the store manager. I don’t believe I should’ve been charged for that service but paid and tipped the second hairdresser for actually being nice and being helpful.

Yesterday I went for the first time to get my songs long hair cut at Cookie Cutters at Sawmill locations. When I was asked by Dawn how we would like it cut I told the woman I would like it kept long just shaped up since my son likes his hair long. I thought that would be it but this woman decided to say "in her opinion that this was a girls haircut". I was taken aback because I didn't think it was a big deal for a boy to have long hair. It's 2020 for god sake! She told me she wanted to connect the bangs to make it a more "masculine cut" and I was thinking why do you have to make this gendered? Boys can have long hair and girls can have short hair, it's all about their preference and my sons preference is long. She still kept it long for the cut but she said after "he still will probably get a girl" like that's a problem for me, which it isn't. All of these comments didn't really sink in or bother me until coming home when I was thinking what if my son could understand more of what this woman was saying (he's 2.5 so he can understand a lot but I think he was at least distracted by the show going on) and how that would affect him, making him feel like his feelings/likes aren't valid just because the woman cutting his hair thought differently. I just felt gross and sad that this was done and I won't be returning.

Lady on sawmill rd Dublin Ohio horrible and extremely rude even my son felt uncomfortable. Yuck! Brown short hair, pink face mask on with a face on it.

I made an appointment for a shampoo and cut for my granddaughter. She wanted layers and bangs shortened. The shampoo only happened because the stylist said she did not style hair that that would be a longer appointment. I stated my appointment was for a shampoo and cut and you would let her leave with wet hair? She then shampooed the hair but didn’t dry it all the way because her hair was curly and would be frizzy. She couldn’t style it. I was not happy. Also the store was awful. No where to sit with many children running around touching all the stuffed animals and sitting anywhere they wanted. I finally sat in a sit that wasn’t being used for a cut. I have previously liked coming here this was a disaster and $28.00 for trimming bangs and a shampoo is ridiculous. I’m taking her somewhere else tomorrow. Not a great way to run a business.
