My son is autistic and has a difficult time with haircuts. The stylist was in a rus. My son kept moving and looking down. The stylist was clearly frustrated and said multiple times "if you keep looking down this is going to take longer". He began to get agitated due to her speef, comments and her continually attempting to touch his face and mask in order to finish quickly even after he repeatedly asked her not to touch his mask. He needed a break and I said I didn't think she was going be able to be finish cutting his hair to which she smugly replied "oh, I can finish cutting his hair". My response was that we weren't going to torture him and I ended the haircut. We ended up at another local salon with a stylist that was not in a rush to cut his hair as quickly as possible and allowed him the time/breaks he needed to get a haircut. We will not be returning to Cookie Cutters.

Haircut was nothing like the photo I brought in. Much shorter than anticipated, no fading whatsoever. Only received a coupon for one of my children and the receptionist had no explanation. Very sad upon leaving as Christmas is coming up and my son has a bad haircut.

I have just received your review of your visit today and am very sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your experience. I appreciate the time that you took to write this review and am hoping you will take just another quick moment to write to me at: minicuts@cccoh.com. I am the owner and we usually hear from happy customers so I would like the opportunity to make this right. Any more details or information would help me to prevent this from happening again in the future. Perhaps, too, if you would consider giving us another chance, I could recommend that you be taken care of by a manager. Again, my sincere apologies and I hope I will hear back from you. Sincerely, Alison Celentano (owner)

Our haircutter absolutely used the wrong guard to taper up my sons hair, and then did everything she could to explain that it was right. I asked for a 3 on the sides and the back and she followed that up by using a low 1 guard on his neck and up the back of his head. The contrast was incredible. At no point did I say that I wanted a 1 guard used. She tried her best to blend it but it looks bad. My advise for her would be to ask more questions. A lot of questions. She explained to me that I should have said “___.” I don’t know what those terms mean. And so before you take a scissor or clipper to kids and their hair just disappears, ask to make sure that’s what we want. It takes 2 seconds. Once the hair is gone, it is gone.

I am very sorry and concerned to hear about your experience. I rarely receive a negative comment and would appreciate the opportunity to fix the problem. Can you tell me who your stylist was or your child's name so that I can determine who it was that gave you such a bad experience? We are committed to offering additional training whenever necessary. Our haircuts are guaranteed for 2 weeks and I would also like the opportunity to make this right for you and your child. Please email me at minicuts@cccoh.com. My name is Alison and I am the owner. We truly want to make this right and make you happy. Our customer service is of the utmost importance. I hope to hear from you. Thank you.

1. If you are requiring parents to wear a mask they should not be charged for them. It is not required by the state so if your company requires them they need to be provided for free. Not everyone has or wears a mask out. 2. Your staff should be handing the mask out instead of having the customers grabbing them. Its pointless for the mask if every customer is coming im and touching all over the mask and box. If that person has COVID-19 and is asymptomatic the next person that comes in and grabs a mask is going to touch the contaminated box. 3. The lady cutting my sons hair was rude as hell. I walked over and set my son in the chair and he started to cry. He started holding his breath and turning blue and all she kept telling me was to get a mask. Im sorry but that the last thing on my mind when my son is holding his breath. She was very unprofessional. Again, if the mask thing is such a big deal you need to hand them out when parents walk in the door !

My husband took my 5 year old son today for a haircut. And ive noticed when I got home that there was small scratch on my sons face near his right eye. My husband did notice that before they left Thats why he didnt say anything. The haircut was nice and my son really likes the place. But i think they need to be extra careful cause it could’ve cost more damage.
