This was our third haircut at Cookie Cutters and our last. My wife went in with our 2 year old whose hair has gotten long - we're trying to grow it out but it was in need of a trim. My wife provided photos of long, but groomed hair and specifically mentioned we were excited that it was almost at a length where it could be tucked behind his ear. My wife mentioned we preferred scissors over clippers as we basically just needed the back and around the ears trimmed up. Well, she cut straight across his front and used clippers all around. There is nothing similar to the images we shared, and nothing taken into consideration from what my wife told her our preferences was. In addition, it would really be good to ask clients before a pomade or gel is put in the kids hair. I would never expect someone to do that without asking at an adult haircut - this should be no different. I don't know if "Cookie Cutters" is supposed to imply that every haircut is the same and we just missed that? But for the price we paid I would expect that we could provide some ideas on how we'd like our child's hair to look and it would be taken seriously.

The employee did not speak to me nor listened to how I wanted my son’s haircut to be. The cut is choppy and the sides are all crooked. I’m embarrassed for my son’s haircut. I’m additionally upset because my son has a performance next week.

My daughter is devastated after her haircut and in tears. We asked for a very slight “baby” trim to clean up dead ends but the stylist cut inches off her hair. She has very fine hair that does not grow quickly/much. She had been thrilled that finally at 9 years old her hair had finally grown to her shoulders and we could finally do braids. Unfortunately now she can hardly do a ponytail. I wasn’t looking initially to catch it and by the time I noticed it was too late unfortunately. We were both in shock. It could take years for her hair to grow back to the length it was. Needless to say we will never go back to cookie cutters.

We had to wait 40 minutes to be seen. The baby certificate took a long time to complete and wasn’t worth the price. The stylist was very kind

The person who cut Logan’s hair (Tammy I think) sprayed him in the ear with water. When he started crying she then blamed it on him saying “oh he just doesn’t like water on his ears”. No. He just doesn’t like water sprayed at velocity IN his ears. Like anyone. Toward the end of the experience, she carelessly jabbed him in the eye with the corner of the comb and he started crying again. She blamed it on him “moving his head”. Not the case, he was transfixed on the TV when he wasn’t being sprayed or jabbed. In conclusion, careless actions filled by an unapologetic bedside manner made this a bad experience for Logan and I am not sure if I will be bringing him to this location again. It would have been nice if she just apologized.

Stylist was 25 minutes late for appointment. Rushed through the haircut, didn’t do the wash, missed big chunks of hair. Really disappointed.
