We have been having my child’s hair cut here since it opened and usually have a good experience. The stylist was very nice and friendly at the start of the appointment. However, when she said she was done I pointed out in a polite manor that the side and back were not even and one part was longer than the other she raised her voice, argued with me, and told me that is the way the it was supposed to look. I said politely that I hear what she is saying but I didn’t like it that way. She then said that she knew how the style looked best. I told her politely I know how I like my child’s hair to look and they have had the same hair style for 6 years. She again raised her voice and said fine I will cut it all off like you want. I quickly removed my child from the seat as I didn’t want all their hair cut off and we didn’t need to be yelled at. I told her I would just fixed it at home and she didn’t need to raise her voice. I know she didn’t want make my child’s hair look the way I wanted, but I am paying for her to make it the way my child likes it, not the way she likes it. Additional my child has autism, ADHD, and sensory processing issues and her raising her voice was an upsetting experience for them. I have never had anyone speak to me that way in an establishment let alone at a child’s hair salon. I was very surprised and saddened by the experience.
