Wasn't pleased with the haircut today. When I was there previously the cuts were great that is why I have continued to come back. Not sure I will return.

Stylist didn’t ask if it was their first haircut. Didn’t introduce any tools to them just when straight into the service. They didn’t bother to clean the seat or area before having my child sit down. She was just trying to beat the time and rushed the entire service. Wasn’t patient with the child. She did a sloppy job and missed a couple of hairs on the side and back of the neck. At one point my child said “oww” and proceeded to cry. Instead of listening to him she responded with “you don’t have an owie don’t be silly, it doesn’t hurt”. I arrived at home and realized he had a scratch on his cheek, she was rushing and rough and wasn’t careful where she was placing her clippers. The price was way too high for a 5 min service. On top of everything she let all the hair fall on his clothes and down his back. Their should’ve been a full length cape on him.

The quality of this location has seriously gone down. The worker was rough with my children and does not seem qualified to be working in a kids hair salon. I do not plan on ever coming back here.

It was a very discriminatory treatment today. My son had an appointment for 6:15pm. We arrived earlier than that. However, we were made to wait almost an hour. This is because the white ladies didn’t take my son even though he was before other kids. The ladies said it was “computer” which did this arrangement not them. What I noticed was during that hour, there were three non white kids. Only the non white lady cut their hair. Why? Is hair color matter so much? Why did my son had to wait for the non-white lady to be free for his hair cut? Does the color of my son’s hair matter? I thought we were past this type of environment. I would like to know why this is happening at Cookie Cutters. I have nothing against the non white lady who cut my son’s hair. She was polite and did a good job. What I don’t understand is that why the white ladies didn’t cut my son’s hair and instead cut the white kids hair who came way later than my son? I repeatedly said I don’t have any preference to who cuts my son’s hair. What kind of corporate policy allows this type of discrimination??

We booked a "Baby's First Haircut" and took our 23 month old son for his first cut. The stylist finished up two siblings and said she was ready for us. She didn't introduce herself and she didn't clean or sanitize the area or the chair that the kids are to sit in. I told her that the chair hadn't been cleaned off and there was hair (from the two cuts she'd just finished up) all over it. She barely cleaned the chair (quickly went over the outside of it with a blow dryer) and there was still hair clippings all over the chair and the platform the chair sits on. Luckily our son had no interest in sitting in the kids chair and my husband had to hold him during the cut. We told the stylist that we wanted a fade, tapers on the sides and back, and trimmed at the top (we wanted him to keep his curls). The stylist then proceeded to cut him low all over his head and he had no more curls at the top. Very disappointed in the experience and the outcome of the haircut. Then once we got to the register she realized that we booked a "Baby's First Haircut" package and she forgot to take the before/after pic, didn't print out the certificate, and gave us a small plastic baggie with some of his hair clippings. Overall, it was not a good first experience and I wish I knew the name of the stylist so I could tell others to avoid her. Most of these issues could've been avoided if she (the stylist) took her job more seriously. We will have to look elsewhere next time. My advice, before the stylist begins make sure they introduce themselves, ensure their work area is appropriately cleaned and sanitized between clients, and make sure they know which package you booked and that they understand and follow your directions.

Person who cut my son hair actually not experienced or don’t know about cleanliness when cutting kids hair. She took my son to that sit where someone cut the hair before and area was not clean, hair was everywhere! It will be better if she use Hair dryer onetime during the cut so that cutting hair fallen on the kids face go away and kids feel comfortable not irritated for hair. I request for haircuts and shampoo services but she looks busy asking us to pay without shampoo service! All parents usually come with some excitement and this type of service may trigger bad mode at the end. Hope you guys focus on that in feature.
