The receptionist was fine, the stylist however did not prepare him for the experience at all. This was a second haircut and as soon as he was placed in the seat and told that he just needs a trim and cleaned up she immediately grabs the clippers and takes it right to his head. He is of course immediately alarmed and starts screaming. Instead of backing off and adjusting to him she made me hold him in certain positions so that she could continue his cut. I tried to distract him but even when she went to scissors he didn't want her anywhere near him. About halfway through the cut I was over her attitude and just wanted the whole thing done. He had such a good time at his first appointment and the stylist then took the time to introduce and moved slowly. Complete 180 experience this time and I will go back, just not to that stylist.

Very unhappy with my experience. My daughters hair is uneven all around.

Child ended up with a buzz cut and not at all what we asked. We asked for a 2 on the sides and clip the top. His entire head was buzzed and couldn’t be corrected.

Robyn was nice enough to cut my son’s ear and not even clean him up after he had his haircut. She just went and left without a word. I am very unhappy with the service and frustrated. I take my son to cookie cutter a lot because he is pretty difficult to cut hair but for the most part other hair dressers were nice and even offer some help to make him calm to finish the haircut with minimal fighting of keeping him down. Robyn was nothing like that and showed frustration to me and my son from the beginning of our appointment. My son is not easy to do haircuts with but that’s why I rely on places like cookie cutter to make it a better experience for us. Today was nothing like that, I was beyond frustrated and very upset leaving the shop and I don’t think we will plan to ever come back at this cookie cutter.

This is our second experience with Leah and both have been disappointing. She has been dismissive and belittling when asking questions about haircut.

Salon was very dirty. We had appointment, but had to wait at least 20 minutes past our appointment time. I had twins and they took them both at the same time. Both were upset and as a mom it was hard for me to try and comfort both of them at the same time. It was also hard to take pictures when it was happening at the same time. They made their 1st hair cut nothing special.
