I had 2 of my son's appoiments there. One of my son's are 2, so je moves a lot and I know this so I always help hold his head, etc. Well yesturday while I had steped away to tell the other lady how I wanted my other sons hair to be cut, this lady decided tjat she was going to start edging my sons hair, which cut his ear and it is very uneven and way above his ear!! She also didn't cut one side very good at all. The whole time ahe complained how curious my son was, I gwt he moves his head, but no more than thw nect 2 year old. So now, I will need to go back and have them fix his hair because of thwir mistake. The lady who cut.my othwr sons hair was amazing. We honestly habe never had an issue until now, amd I have 4 kids, 3 of which still go to cookies cutters.

I think the employees at the pickerington location forget they are working with young kids sometimes. They always seem very annoyed and on edge when you’re in there. My child usually does well but today was an off day and he had a fit the whole time. He is only 3 and I’ve never felt so judged in my life. They need to learn new ways to try and deal with kids who are having a hard day because I know I’m not the only one. Could also be a little cleaner. For $30 after tip I would almost rather go to the barber shop we typically go to that isn’t even geared toward kids but it’s a more welcoming environment.

The stylist we had was amazing. Very professional and gave us personalized advice on my sons specific hair type. However the customer service received by the secretary was the worst we have had. When making the appointment nothing was mentions regarding masks needed to be worn by parents to enter, completely necessary precaution I get it!! However when arriving to our appointment 3 minutes late I was told it was absolutely unacceptable to be late at all and I would need to wait outside for 20 minutes, it felt more like punishment then actual regulation. On the phone cal she said to make sure I am wearing my mask as I enter, when I told her I didn’t bring mine she said I would have to put a washcloth over my face the whole time I am inside. It wasn’t the rules that got it me it was the tone, attitude and lack of customer care. When paying $27 for a 1 minute hair cut you would think being professional and respectful is a given.

The price for a child trim is crazy. As an adult I pay 20 for an elaborated hair cut.

I always take my son in but this time my husband did! I have it in my sons profile how I like his haircut and this cut is not what I get. The stylist cut his cowlick too short and it is completely uneven and not blended.
