I about popped this hair dude in his mouth. First cocking a additude when we come in. I mention shes autistic and certain sounds and emotions will trigger her. Soon as hes done brushing her hair he goes okay I need one of you to to stand in front of her and hold her head down. I nearly wanted to strangle him, I'm like excuse me? That's not going to work I told you she has a sensory disorder so he trys holding her head and and she loses it and he just rolls his eyes and goes well it wont be even. Every time we have gone and the girls do it they are so gentle and kind with her she never has an issue. Then he only cuts like half and inch off not doing at all what I ask and then everytime she pulls away he cocks a major additude about it. I am fuming

I chose Cookie Cutters has this was my three year old daughter’s first haircut, and when I took my son to CC for his first cut (many years ago, but a different CC location) he had a great experience - the stylist were excited to give him his first haircut, were enthusiastic, explained what they were doing, kindly offered a toy and his choice of cartoon in TV. However, this experience was far from positive. My very well behaved three year old was excited to get her first hair cut! We weren’t greeted timely (or kindly), the stylist didn’t communicate with my child (who is very articulate and capable of communicating), the haircut is horribly uneven (again, my child was well behaved, it’s not like she was rowdy or fidgety during the service), AND at the end of the service, when preparing our certificate we were made to feel as if it were such a waste of their time. I’m confident we would have had a better experience just about anywhere. Definitely did not meet my expectations, my child’s expectations or live up to the cookie cutters hype. We won’t be back, that’s for sure.

I’m not going to bring my kid back here bc if the lack of consistency b/w cuts. Every time we find a stylist who does good, they leave and then we have to experiment with someone new. I’m not happy with how my kids hair turned out. After we got home and it dried, I could see the uneven cuts throughout and a huge gap.

Normally a very good experience with my autistic child but this time the lady was not right she may be good with kid but not autistic kids will give another shot though

I tried Cookie Cutters a few times, but the haircut my son received was not good. Very choppy and uneven. The stylist do not know how to blend a fade or the top of the hair. I will not be back.

While cutting my 10 year old nephews hair Makaylynne, in the Grove City Ohio location, cut his ear. Another lady finished his hair for free, but we are not going back. We feel that they need more people with experience in cutting kids hair.
