I took my 23 month old here for the first time today. It was his worst haircut experience and his first haircut was when he was 9 months old. I wish I knew the name of the girl who cut his hair but despite providing a personal service she wasn't personable at all. For a place that caters to children specifically, him behaving like a child seemed like a big surprise. My son reacted as a toddler would during a haircut, turning away a few times and holding a hand up to his head where it tickled. Her reaction was to throw her hands up like he was the worst child ever and thus also acting like a child. The only time he cried was when she was smashing the clippers into the sides of his head. We will not be returning.

I am not pleased with our experience at Cookie Cutters. The stylist was not patient with our child. She was nice was but became irritated with our child. His hair cut is not what I paid for by any means and we now have to see if we can get it fixed. I’m not pleased with our experience here and will not be recommending this location or returning.

If I had known that this place was for beginners, I wouldn't have taken my child there. She barely cut off what I asked to be cut off, then didn't even know how to correctly put layers in my child's hair. Then when I asked her to thin out my daughter's hair, she had to have the other person working there do it for her because she didn't know how. I know that everyone must start somewhere, but you need to learn how to do the job first before you go out and actually do the job on customers. Especially if you want good reviews. I will not be back to this salon ever again! Nice place, but absolutely horrible service! Total waste of $20!

This was my 2 year old sons 2nd haircut ever. He was afraid and started crying when the stylist sprayed his hair to cut it. She grabbed him a sucker, but he was still not happy. Instead of helping or having other suggestions, the stylist stood back and looked annoyed that he was crying. It made me feel Uncomfortable so I decided not to get his hair cut. My daughter is 4 and her cut went well.

The stylist was nice but not engaging at all. She did not even wet my daughters hair. She combed it, chopped it while dry, and sprayed a little glitter hairspray all over. We’ve been to a different location and received a totally different experience. We will not be returning customers.
