Normally I am very happy with his haircut but, we went to someone else this time bc the usual lady and back up lady wasn’t working this week. I asked for a hipster cut with a hard part on him as I always do (showed her a photo of his last visit simple enough tot really just needed cleaned up).... his top was hanging into his eyes I asked her to just get it off his eye brows so he could see when we were just chilling at home and it wasn’t styled.... first thing she does is cut a huge Chunk off the front! At that point there was no point in saying anything it had to be evened out I tried to trust the process but just kept cutting (its soooo short it’s not a booster cut at all ! ) then, she put the hard part in she shaved such a thick line like I don’t understand why she would do that ) normally id be fairly fine with it not happy but it’s just hair but this was for birthday photos I am so sad this is what his hair looks like for his yearly photos :( So while I like his usual stylist Melissa and will come Back to her... I do not recommend Dakota. (I wanted him to look cleaned up for his birthday but at this point no haircut would’ve been better. I can’t get this moment in time back now )

The place was very noisy. Each station had TV's and made it hard to hear the stylist. There was hair covering the rug in front of the cashier's station. The hairstylists were not friendly, my daughter wanted a trim and several inches were taken off. When we entered, we were handed a paper to fill out and an unsanitized pen, the seats and counters were not wiped after customers left. The seating was not spaced out, so most people were within 6 ft of each other. The mirrors were too high and my daughter did not see the back of hair. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Miss Melissa and Miss Savannah were wonderful. My child is on the autism spectrum and they made sure he was comfortable the entire time we were there. His haircut looked phenomenal and the experience was great. I love that Cookie Cutters saves my child’s profile/information (desired hair style, favorite shows, sensory issues, etc.) to make each appointment quick, familiar, and wonderful. I would recommend this salon to everyone!

I plan on being back. The stylist was professional and made sure my daughter was taken care of and went above and beyond.
