So I may my son appointment weeks ago and I also ask for either Melissa or hope… I’ve tried other stylist when either one of them isn’t here because any time I have someone else do it my son hair always ends up messed up. I get there today for our appointment and another girl comes out to get Gavin and I asked her if hope was here and she said no she is off today granted my confirmation says hope, she begins to cut my sons hair which was to short he was almost bald good thing I was able to stop her before it was to late. I was upset because if hope was taken off the schedule I would have liked to of been called with that information of her not being there today instead of not knowing till I get all the way there to tell me about. A girl that was there was very rude to me about it saying it’s her schedule they knew nothing about it. That’s not a good enough reason!!! I’m sure when they came in the schedule was looked at for the day and the professional thing to do would have called me when they noticed I requested hope… what’s the point of requesting someone if they are not who you get when you get there. Was very upset leaving today.

Stylist was no well trained. Left my child with completely uneven hair and I had to point it out to her after she was about to put gel in his hair.

Staff wasn't friendly at all. The website is VERY misleading. The website claims they are very good with kids and will tend to kids' needs with disabilities. Website explained they used distractions and toys, tvs, etc. They did NONE of that. We explained my son had down syndrome and had a sensory issue with his hair being cut. No one helped distract him, didn't offer the tv, no toys, she didn't even talk to my son. Was a complete disaster and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I will not be back. Not to mention the haircut is awful, its very uneven and has a huge chunk missing on one side that is VERY noticeable. We live over an hour away and traveled that far hoping we would have a new hair salon to take our son to but that wasn't the case.

The employee tried to put my child in a head lock to use the buzzers after I said to only use the scissors because he does not like the buzzers . I picked my son up as soon as she tried to hold him down and said I would just finish the rest of his hair cut at home .

Pretty sure the girl was under the influence of marijuana, her hands reeked of it, ny child’s hair looks absolutely terrible and I have never had a bad experience here until now. The more she tried to fix it… the worse it got. Now my son is out here with a lopsided hair cut and he looks ridiculous

Almost all chairs were covered with previous client hair. I (parent) described wanting only a trim with scissors and keeping top of hair longer than sides. Stylist gave verbal confirmation and then grabbed the hair clippers (with a guard) and began taking off hair. Once the first pass of the clippers went, I knew there was no way the style agreed upon was going to happen. Stylist left hair uneven and MUCH shorter than requested and confirmed. I did not inform stylist of displeasure since my child’s hair had already been shaved off. I paid full price, and left a tip, but am quite disappointed with the final product and will have to take my child to another salon to fix hair. I have had many great experiences at cookie cutters (different location) prior, but would not recommend this stylist and am very disappointed with the final product.
