We were 9 minutes late and had two appointments back to back for both my kids. They said since we were late only one kid could get their hair cut and they couldn’t squeeze us in. It was literally unbelievable. Any other salon would have gladly tried to squeeze a kid in especially a supposedly kid friendly environment where moms running late should not be the end of the world. The girl working the front desk was also a real piece of work and the most unfriendly individual. We will not be coming back

I've brought my son, Greysen, here for quite some time. We've always been happy in the past. This experience was different. His hair was cut too short and it is uneven, poorly blended, and he left completely covered in hair. The hair stylist stated she was in training but no one appeared to help her or lend advise although I was clearly displeased. It's questionable whether we return.

We have gone here for years with no issues. Today, my son's hair was totally chopped off. I am very frustrated. My husband and son clearly said what was to be done. Yet when they got home it is uneven and a good 2 inches shorter than what my son wanted. It looks aweful.

I called in today to make an appointment with one of your stylist (Teresa) and I was confirmed that she would available at 5:20pm, I called in roughly around 12-12:30 and wanted to make sure there was enough time so I could do a few errands and go. Well I get to your location and it's 5:10pm and my son and I sat down as were a little early. Well 5:20 past, 5:30 past and by 5:40 another stylist said she could take me as she had just gotten finished with her client. I asked are you Terese and she replied "No" and walk over to Teresa (who was working on another little girl) letting her know I was there for her with disapprovment. So what was the purpose of me calling and asking for an appointment. I felt so bad, like ok you know I can see that face you have. If your stylist don't like what they are doing let them go. Anyway a we sat down very late and missed the first part of a school carnival that was supposed to start at 6, Thanks, will be the last time going!!

I am very sorry that your visit to Gahanna on Friday did not go well. I am the owner and I did a little research in to this situation so that I could better understand what had happened. I am not offering excuses because clearly you did not receive the experience and level of service that we strive to offer. After speaking with the manager we believe that the new receptionist who was being trained earlier that day made a mistake when making your appointment. The stylist Teresa has been with us for a long time and has a strong following of clients and truly does enjoy her job. The stylists strive to increase their customer requests and I am sure that this was an unfortunate error and in no way intentional. I greatly appreciate you bringing this mistake to our attention so that we can focus on making sure that it does not happen again. Need to learn how to better fit in walk-in appointments or appointment errors. It is frustrating to see staff standing around waiting for their next appointment when they could be taking care of the walk in and getting the extra business.

I am sorry to hear that you were not squeezed in when visiting our salon just a few days before Christmas. We are an appointment based salon and try our best to fit in walk-ins but honor the 20 minute appointments that people have booked in advance. I hope that you will give us another chance and usually just calling ahead a few hours will allow us to provide an appointment time that will fit your schedule.
