So I felt like Trish did a good haircut on my son the first time I visited, but this last visit on 9/25 let me down. I should have listened to my gut and asked specifically for Trish after I heard the other lady say something about how she was going to take a tip from Trish and use thinning sheers more. My son has longer hair. I showed the lady a picture of a shorter hair cut and asked if she was comfortable doing this cut on my sons hair. She confirmed she was. Shortly into the haircut I just knew this was not going to turn out the way I wanted. I knew the sides and back would need to tapered, cut shorter, and blended in. The front was a jagged look. I had to continuously point out places she missed, ask her to cut the hair around the ears, then pointed out that she had left the hair on one ear considerably longer than the other, and this was when she was trying to wrap up the cut. I felt like I was pulling teeth to get the haircut I wanted. I finally told her it was fine as I was tired of telling her what needed to be done. We left with a haircut that looked like he had a chili bowl set on his head, as though he should have been on the set of Dumb and Dumber. Last night, I spent at least a good hour trying to make his haircut a little more like the picture. I was just disappointed.
