Kelsey at Cookie Cutters in Northville (6 & Haggerty) was amazing! We were having a hard time getting our two year old to sit still and not cry for a haircut. I swear Kelsey is the kid whisperer because we tried other places and it was not happening. If you want a good experience with a person who is kind, thoughtful and cares about your child, then you need to go to Cookie Cutters and see Kelsey. - Kristin Ray, mom to Miles

This was my first visit to Cookie Cutters with my son. I wanted to do something fun with him after being in the hospital last week. He loves race cars so I thought this would be perfect for him. The experience was good- he enjoyed it and the stylist was friendly. The cut was a little but more than I wanted to pay for a 3 year old but I was paying for the race cars I guess. After left I realized his hair was BUTCHERED. When it was being cut she went a little too short on top but I figured “it will grow out” I can deal with “too short” plus it was already cut so not much we can do to put it back on. After we left I noticed how BAD it was cut. So bad that I could not let my son walk around looking like that and took him elsewhere to get it fixed. It was not blended on the sides, it was not trimmed around his ears, and was not cleaned up on his neck. It was more of a Mohawk than a “faux hawk” that I asked for. So he now has a $40 haircut and will not be returning to this location. I didn’t want to make a scene at the time and say I wasn’t paying for it and I really don’t want to go online and post the pictures of my sons hair bashing this business. I think a refund of what I paid is more than fair.
