Hot water in tub was broken. Got charged incorrectly. Cashier talked on the phone socially while I was still waiting for service.

Rated 5 for every category. The concept is great for kids. Service, mediocre. This past Saturday my son and I walked in around 9am. One kid was getting their haircut and there was no one waiting. There were two stylists working. I was asked if we had an appointment. When I said no the woman stated that the next available “appointment” was 12:45. I was a little taken back since there was no one else waiting in the store. Who wouldn’t want to make a quick buck before their next appointment? We left and did not return. Today my wife called and make an appointment for 3:30pm. When she arrived the receptionist said that the appointment was for 3:00, not 3:30. Regardless of who is correct, employees should not be rude to a customer, especially if the employee is not correct. My son got his hair cut regardless since there wasn’t an appointment coming up. Even though we are one person, we will not be returning for a haircut again.

We came in for a bang trim. The hairdresser started cutting the hair by her shoulders, my wife said we are only here for a bang trim I don’t want all her hair cut. The hairdresser responded with “I don’t do partial cuts” and contributed to cut her hair. We won’t use that hairdresser again.

They only had one stylist working on a Saturday but I think it was because they don’t have many employees to begin with. It seems stressful to cut kids’ hair so they probably have a lot of turnover. I think for what the stylist was dealing with she did a decent job with the cut. It was my son’s first haircut and he was not in the best mood. He was squirmy and whiny.

I took the day off of work so that I could take my daughter for a haircut. We had a 10am appointment and arrived on time to find the place was closed. Someone from the nail salon came outside and introduced herself as the receptionist and said that she forgot her key and the hair stylist was stuck in traffic so we would have to wait outside in the heat until someone arrived. The receptionist then went back into the nail salon next door and sat in the AC on her computer while we were baking outside. When the hair stylist arrived 15-20minutes later, she said "not my fault" about traffic and that we were waiting outside. We did not receive any discounts for the trouble that we were put through nor any apologized. At a minimum, I think that someone (receptionist or stylist) should have apologized for not coming to work on time and for forgetting the key to establishment at home.
