I came in with my two boys, both were scheduled to get a cut at 4pm. I left at 5. I felt so bad for the stylists who were upbeat, friendly, but visibly tired and feeling rushed because they are OVERBOOKED and BEHIND because of it. The one stylist had to go to the bathroom and apologized three times to the customer who had been waiting and when it was her turn it was the first break the stylist had to even go out of the room for 2 minutes. You schedule the appointments way too close together, how can someone be expected to cut a 2 year olds hair in 15 minutes? I understand you are trying to make as much money as possible but your service is starting to slide is a major way and you have absolutely no regard for your employees, obviously. I could have gone to sports clips across the way and likely been done in less time, without having booked any kind of appointment. I have been a frequent buyer of you cards to get a discount by purchasing multiple cuts at once, but am wondering if I will even buy another. It has nothing to do with the stylists and everything to do with the way you expect them to move like machines with no consideration for them or your customer, apparently, who is coming in on time just to sit there and wait. I was very disappointed when I left after an hour because both my boys had to wait for their turn, and never even ended up in chairs at the same time, forget having their hair cut at the same time. I was not happy with my experience.

I appreciate that this employee put her mask on seeing our vaccinated family. She did a decent job on his hair. She asked if masks were required for school and when I said no, despite our entire family being masked, she went on around how great that was and it needs to stay that way. I can for hair cuts, not your personal opinion that clearly differs from mine. She had no right to spew that to my child. Her opinion has no place in a hair salon. SHe is not a physician and should not be giving COVID protocol input.

I asked for a very specific haircut, leaving the picture out as well. It was a big deal as my son’s hair was going from long to shorter. I asked to leave it long on the top and it was totally chopped. I kept saying it’s getting too short and she just kept cutting. She also seemed agitated and like she just wanted to get it over with. This was a big deal to us, cutting our son’s hair shorter for the first time and we are sad that it went the way it did. I’ve always had such good experiences at Cookie Cutters with the stylists seeming in tune with us and also carefully following instruction (and slowly cutting and asking if it was a big change). Super bummed this time.

When booking my child's appointment twice now we have had a different stylist cut his hair. The stylist has been present each time and no one has explained to me why we are having someone else cut his hair. This only upsets me because when booking, I request a certain person because of the relationship they have built with my son. I have to wait for specific dates and times to work around their schedule and still end up with someone else.

The last 2 times that I have taken my child in for a hair cut we are waiting at least 25 to 30 minutes although we had an appointment scheduled. It's really frustrating if we had somewhere to be. And then my childs haircut is being rushed and didn't turn out as great as it has at the past appointments.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comments. We are constantly working to improve in this area. We have hired additional staff, including a receptionist, and adjusted our bookings to allow for less appointments per hour. We have definitely improved in this area over the last month, but we still have moments where we get behind. Often times this is because we have a child who had a difficult time during a haircut and required additional time or a client showed up late. Whatever the case may be, please know we are doing our best to keep our appointments and hope that you will come back soon!
