My kids love going to our local Cookie Cutters. I was a bit disappointed this time around. We are still in the middle of a pandemic and none of the employees were wearing masks. I almost walked out but I did not want to disappoint my excited kids. The employees see client after client and work with children who are not vaccinated. None of them washed their hands in between clients. A male employee was talking face-to-face to each kid as they were getting their haircut. I do not think I can return to this location for awhile.

I didn’t appreciate that I walked in on time to my appointment and people that walked in. Right before me were given priority. If you’re late to your own appointment others shouldn’t be made to wait.

I look around the salon when I bring in my grandson and am concerned about how bazaar they look. I have had at least five haircuts at this location and only one was substandard. The manager made it right at the next appointment, but now I'm Leary when I walk in. I will no longer accept just 'any' hairstylist when we walk in the door.

I really appreciated the person who cut Deans hair. She took the hint from our family that we were masked and asked if I would like her to mask. Dean is a medically complex child who cannot afford to have COVID or any other respiratory infection. He can end up in the hospital from regular respiratory illnesses. Unfortunately others in the salon do not seem to have any concern for others and the overall vibe was that we were being judged for wearing masks. I will be taking my business elsewhere despite having come to cookie cutters since it opened.

Long wait time even with an appointment and not a whole lot of communication about it.

Appointment times are recommended but rarely have we ever been seen on time. A few of the stylists are fantastic, but there is a big difference in quality and professionalism amongst them.
