Highly unorganized establishment. When a hair dresser calls in sick, there needs to be a back-up plan instead of leaving one hair dresser to do all the hair cuts. The unsatisfied customer ahead of me made the lone hair dresser take time from my son's hair cut to fix what was not properly cut on her son's hair during his appointment. It was chaotic. With only three chairs and two remained open, people came in then walked out to go get cuts somewhere else. The "no walk-in" policy will hurt business.

Thank you for your review. Please keep in mind that we have only been open for 3 weeks and do not have a full staff yet. Finding good stylists that enjoy cutting kids hair full time is actually not an easy thing to do. We have done our very best to recruit and hire good stylists and are doing the best we can to meet the overwhelming demand with what we have. Unfortunately, when a stylist gets sick, as people always do, we don't have the staff to cover at this point. I'm sorry that you feel like my establishment is highly unorganized. I have worked tirelessly to get this store up and running and am doing the best I can with the people I have. I'm sorry that you came on a day when we were short a person. I'm sure if my stylist had not been sick that day, your experience would have been a different one. I hope you will give us another chance.

I took my daughter in to get her hair trimmed. She asked for a half inch off only and ended up with about 4 inches off. Plus her haircut was so uneven. The lady tried to fix it but as you can see in the picture which is the end result, it looks terrible and so uneven everywhere. We were both ready to cry as my daughter had been growing her hair out for awhile. Now I have to spend more money to go to another place to get it fixed and it will end up being super short to even get it fixed.

I feel like the price of a haircut is pretty high considering it only takes like 15 minutes. But what I find irritating is that it doesn't include the cost of the hair wash. To get a quick shampoo is $6! That's ridiculous!

The salon is really gross. People are very nice, but its a busy place so hiring a person to clean well between customers might be wise. Chairs and supplies not cleaned at all between visits. (No, a hairdryer blowing some of the hair off the chairs does not count as cleaning). Hair covers every surface of the room. Will only be coming back to use the one remaining credit on our member card, then will likely be going elsewhere.

Receptionist Was on her phone a lot and their was not enough hair dressers. Also the. Prices seem a little high for a kid hair cut granted you do things their level but what about older kids that don't fit in the Spider-Man car?

Thank you for taking the time to review your experience at Cookie Cutters. I completely agree that we do not have enough stylists working yet and I am doing everything I can to hire more. We had one quit the day before we opened and we had to let another go the day we did open because she did not meet our standard of quality and care. Hopefully we can get some more quality stylists to apply so we can hire them and get them taking care of our clients. As for the receptionist being on her phone, well that was me, the owner of the store. I am doing my best to run the store as well as take care of all the other things that need to be taken care of on the back end. With it being our first week open, there were plenty of emails, texts, and phone calls that needed to be made during business hours. I have recently hired a receptionist and will no longer need to work the front desk while also trying to take care of business behind the scenes. Also, we do have an adult chair for those clients who might be a little too big for the fantasy chairs. We strive to make every child feel comfortable and hope that you can see that we are trying our best. We look forward to serving you again.
