I took my son in today to get his second hair cut. It was such a great experience! He did cry the entire time, but he does that no matter what. He still gets worried when he sees someone new, so this was to be expected. But the way the hair dresser handled the situation was so awesome. She was so patient and understanding. If he got too upset she would stop and try to get his mind off what was going on. I truly appreciate that the stylist never seemed frustrated and that she took her time to cut his hair the way I asked. It turned out so great! We will be back in the next time his hair needs to be trimmed. Thanks guys for making the whole process easy and enjoyable! :)

Really like the haircuts here & the personal experience for each kid. Small playground inside has a lot of hair on it and my kids leave with a bunch of hair on their clothes... Not my favorite part.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm glad that you enjoy the haircuts and the experiences you have had. We honestly clean the slide multiple times a day, but as soon as a child who has just had a haircut plays on it, it gets covered in hair again. If the stylists are busy cutting hair, it may be a little while before they are able to get over and clean it again. I hope you understand that we are doing our best to keep it clean, but seeing as we are a hair salon, there will be hair on the slide at times. We have lint rollers at the front desk that you are welcome to use on your child before you leave. We look forward to seeing you again!

The store is really hot and I wish there were things geared toward kids that aren't babies. The service was fantastic though!

THank you for taking the time to review your experience at Cookie Cutters. I apologize if the temperature of the salon was not to your liking. It's a tricky time of year to monitor the thermostat - it's cold in the mornings and warm in the afternoons. Also, we try to be appealing to kids of all ages. Yes, the slide and cars are geared for our younger clients, but that's because they are the ones that tend to need the most attention and distraction. Our older kids seem to be happy sitting in the regular salon chairs and watching Netflix. And all kids enjoy getting a sucker and balloon!:)
