Although we were right on time for our appointment, we happened to be in the last time slot of the day at 4:45pm. The hair professional was very clearly in a rush to get our haircut done and out the door by 5pm. The haircut was horrible! We have never had such a bad haircut experience at cookie cutters. We typically get a nice haircut and that is why for 3 years, we have made the hour long round trip drive to get our hair done here. The lady did not listen to my son about wanting to leave his bangs long-now he has a very uneven very short bowl cut type bang-which is different lengths on each side of his face. She didn’t take the time to even out the top or blend it in-she just shaved very quickly and roughly. She left his bangs dripping wet plastered to his forehead and didn't even attempt to style it or double check her work. My son practically ran out the door to the car crying. He wore his hoodie hood over his head for the whole rest of the night; He didn’t want to go inside his favorite restaurant we were going to for dinner afterwards, to celebrate his best ever report card. He was so distraught, he talked about not being able to go to school for the next 2 weeks because he will get bullied. Haircuts can be very important to kids. My suggestion is to not have the last appointment at 4:45 if hair techs are expecting to leave at 5. That is NOT enough time to do a quality haircut and clean up and be out the door at 5pm when the shop closes. Also, this tech needs to be talked to about this lack of service-really, she did a disservice, and it can cause a huge emotional fallout, as well as bullying because of her carelessness.

We always request Elizabeth as she gives a great haircut to Colton and understands his needs. We went to the Boise location once and will never go there, but always back to the Linder Road location.

We showed up at this Cookie Cutters location for literally the last appointment of the day (6:45pm)... Normally I would not come this late but we are traveling soon and it was the only time I could fit this in for my son. To be honest, being the last customers of the day, I was kind of expecting the stylist to be tired and kind of over it but somehow she was as upbeat and welcoming as if we were her first customers of the day. My son got a good haircut and really enjoyed his time there... although he would probably tell you the visit was too short because we didn't have to wait more than a few seconds to start our appointment, and the cut itself was quick and efficient and done with quality. Well worth the time and money. Will be back with my other kiddos.

Tasha does an amazing job! She has cut my 2 year old's hair twice now and both times we have been extremely happy. She is patient and sweet to our nervous boy. He doesn't talk much to other people but when we got in the car today he said "aw, she did a great job!"
