I have brought my son there twice before and had two lovely ladies cut my son’s hair. They were patient and kind and understanding that a 2 year old isn’t going to sit perfectly still. The man who cut my son’s hair yesterday made me uncomfortable and a little bit mad. He wasn’t patient at all. He kept jerking my sons head around and telling him to be still. He’s 2 years old. He didn’t introduce himself to my son or try to make him feel comfortable. Just got straight to work and seemed visibly frustrated with how uncomfortable and upset my son was. At one point, I had to tell him he didn’t have to be so rough. I wanted so badly to pull my son out of that chair and leave. That guy should not be cutting small children’s hair. He did an okay job but was rude. I will never let that man touch my son’s head again and will be looking for somewhere else to take my son from now on.

The stylist seemed annoyed about having to cut my son's hair and was obviously frustrated that my 4 year old wouldn't sit still. When she asked me what I was wanting I told her just a trim and that his hair needed to be out of his eyes but I didn't want bangs. She gave him bangs. Definitely not going back.

I have been going to this haircutting place for over a year and a half with my two and half year old son. He is very accustomed to haircuts, and loves getting his hair cut! If today had been my first experience with Cookie Cutters I would never come back. If it were no for Zo who made every attempt to try to fix the horrible job done by the previous stylist, I would have called a manager on the spot. First of all, I told the hairdresser a 0 with a fade, I am not a “professional.” My husband than told her a medium fade with a hard part. She completely ruined my son’s hair. There is absolutely NO FADE, the hard part was nonexistent to where she shaved the other side of his head, and then when asked if she was going to fade it in, she replied “I can try.” I told her I was not happy about his hair in which her response was well in the situation we are in. Ow what would you like for me to do. She attempted to fix it, and it was just getting worse. His hair in uneven, choppy, and nothing of what I expected or experienced in the past. My husband told her it was uneven, and she said she would give us a discount for the inconvenience. I told her I was not happy with the experience and was not paying for this haircut unless someone can fix it. At no time did she even apologize! So poor customer service, this is a paid service and she messed up! Zo was very professional, understood our frustration, attempted to fix it, and told us to please come back when it starts to grow in so it could be fixed. She gave us her name and the managers name Jennifer,

I’ve been taking my son there for years, and honestly, this was the worst haircut he had received. I was in shock and disheartened. My son had patches of long hairs around his head when it was supposed to be taken down to a 1 on the sides. Additionally, I asked for his hair to be significantly shorter on the top, and the stylist barely touched the length on the top. Finally, the stylist didn’t event attempt to brush the hair off my son after his cut (I know this may sound petty, but EVERY stylist has done this, EVERY time - and that’s the kind of service I’ve come to expect from Cookie Cutters). He had hair on him and she just started cleaning her station, not even acknowledging my son or the hair that was on him. What’s even more disturbing is the fact that I’ve been recommending Cookie Cutters to my brother for a long while, and he finally took my nephew there the same day my son got his haircut. He called me complaining that he had the same experience from the same stylist. I was embarrassed because I have sworn by my previous experiences at Cookie Cutters... I ended up fixing my son’s hair when I got home. I’m not sure why Shane is no longer there, but he was AMAZING. I’m still undecided as to whether I’ll be back or not. Unfortunately, this horrible experience, and my brother’s horrible experience with the same stylist on the same day, is bad enough that it would wipe out all the other good experiences...

There isn’t enough staff to efficiently run this place. I set up my appointment for my three kids online. I didn’t know that I needed a profile for each separate kid when booking. Even though I booked with each of my kids names and birthdates the system erased my previous booking each time I booked for another kid. There was no indication that was happening. So when I arrived they were over booked, and could hardly take my one kid with what I booked. The hair cutter gave my son a bad haircut. When I asked if she could blend in the straight line across his head she said that our time was done. It was time for her next client. She said maybe sometime within the next few hours if someone doesn’t show up for a booking she could possibly fix it. There wasn’t enough staff to help our issues or even check us out. Thankfully after a lot of stress Rose was very helpful, and gave my son a beautiful cut. She even squeezed in another son of mine. She offered to stay late, after closing to cut my third son, but we didn’t have the time. I have never felt with having a bad cut being refused to be fixed because of time. I wasn’t the only one that had the online booking problem. We saw two other clients upset over the same issue. That needs to be fixed. You also need more staff. Someone who can deal with the front desk as well as stylist. I have trouble with rating how we were treated because the lady who did the original haircut was unfriendly, but Rose was great.

I was with my kid waiting for over 30 min when I saw 3 stylist using their phone for a long time and talking while me and other customers were waiting for someone to be available.
