I've had the best experience when taking my children to get haircuts here for over 2 years. I moved 45 minutes away and STILL made the trip because of how well we were always welcomed and how patient they've been with my child who has sensory issues. However, our last visit was so mishandled. The manager and other associate working were beyond rude. They were less than accommodating and showed poor customer service. We will take our business elsewhere and make sure people know to avoid this establishment.

Janell at the Carmel Cookie Cutters was an absolute disgrace. She was wearing house slippers and mismatched socks when she cut my sons hair. She grabbed my sons head several times while she was doing a very basic haircut. She was also acted very rushed. We scheduled our appointment for 6:45 because it is the appointment time that worked best for our family. I know the salon clothes at 7 but we were treated as if we were bother to Janell and Kristi. In a rush to finish my sons haircut, Janell threatened to turn off the movie my son was watching on the Cookie Cutters TV if he didn’t keep his head still toward the end of his haircut. She treated my husband and I as if we didn’t know anything about haircuts when asking us how we wanted our sons haircut. We have only taken our son, who is 3, to Cookie Cutters to get his hair cut and I will honestly be surprised if we ever return.

My daughter wanted to go here to get 10 inches cut off her hair. I could have done a better job. For this being a place that caters to kids the personality of the stylist was not existent, she did not seem to like what she did and did not interact with my child's at all. Would not recommend at all. Disappointed and now I will be fixing her hair.

Told the lady to do his line up the lady said okay she made it oval I told her that’s not how it goes she kept telling me that’s the line how it goes I took my son to the restroom came back to get it fix lady did not want to fix it she kept saying that’s how it goes she wants to make the oval even higher asked to talk to someone else and lady left and no one ever came to speak to me or fix his hair nor give me a refund decide to leave after they kept ignoring me

Normally when we come to get a haircut the experience is great, today the stylist acted as if our child was a burden and didn’t know how to deal with a child afraid of haircuts. If we return we will request a new stylist.

I went to cookie cutters for my 2 years old son’s haircut. He usually cries a lot during the haircut and he did the same this time as well. But the girl who cut his hair was not patient and really did not treat him nicely. She did a poor job with the haircut. When we requested her to trim his hair a little more she told us it will be another haircut charge. Overall disappointing, we won’t visit this place again.
