We made 2 appointments for our children for separate time slots. We called ahead because we were running late. The person on the phone was so rude and informed us that both our appointments were for the same time and they would be cancelled if we were past 5 minutes late. We told her that our 2nd appointment was for a different time and that we had an email confirmation of that. She was still rude and hung up. We arrive late and met with an attitude again. We understand the rules and said that it was okay that we couldn’t get the one haircut because of time but said that we would still like to move forward with our next appointment. She stated it wasn’t in the system and that time was already booked. I showed her my email confirmation. She was upset and frustrated and said we still might not be able to be seen. It was out of her control and there was nothing she could do. I understood that it’s out of her control, but asked if I have an appointment, could we still be accommodated since it’s not either of our faults and we were willing to wait. 2 employees at this time were telling me that we had to now wait until after the other appointments because our appointment wasn’t in the system even though I showed them proof and no one else was there. Instead of just get ahead and start our appointment since we were early, they continued to argue with me. When I told them that I completely understand that it’s out of there hands and point out their attitude and unprofessional attitude toward me, they didn’t even apologize. It was so uncalled for and unprofessional. Another customer walked in and the woman at the counter just spoke over me, rolled her eyes at me, and proceeded to be pleasant to the next. She completely disregarded how she was treating a loyal customer WITH a proven appointment. The customer service of your employees can be so much better than what I experienced. Also, you lose business and money when you treat people this way. Who wants to bring their children to this type of establishment if this is how you treat their parents. Unacceptable!

Had the worst service for my daughter. Haircut was done very poorly. I feel the stylist is not knowledgeable enough to be doing it. End of day my daughter's hair is ruined.

We have loved all of the stylists we have used in the past, especially Stephanie. This time we had April and it was terrible. She seemed incredibly uncomfortable with children and unsure of herself during the haircut. We always get a 2 or 3 guard on the side and then have the top scissor cut to finger length. We have never had any issues in the past with this request and our son sits incredibly well for cuts. She refused to cut the top the length we asked stating she would cut herself. When she said she was done with the cut, the top of his head was clearly uneven in several places. We eventually just asked her to buzz the top with a longer guard on the clippers to try to even everything out. It still was very uneven in several spots and she tried to tell us it was all the same. We ended up just leaving because the situation was clearly not improving and we are very frustrated that we will have to pay someone else to fix his hair. We will certainly recommend to people that they use someone else.

I scheduled an appointment at 1:15 for my three year old son on Saturday 10/05. I scheduled the appointment, specifically because I’ve been told previously that appointments help decrease the amount of time one may have to wait prior to being helped. We arrived around 1:10 pm. I let my son play while we waited, and as time passed several other customers walked in. I watched as 3-5 other kids were helped before my son. Around 1:40, I approached the counter and said “I’ve been waiting more than 25 minutes, and we had an appointment.” They informed me that the stylist assigned to cut my son’s hair was still with another client, and I would have to wait. I was just about to walk out when they called my son back. The stylist was unfriendly, and impatient with my son. He was nervous, and fidgeting (as typical three year olds are in this scenario.) In the end, the cut looked TERRIBLE. I ended up taking my son to get it fixed at another salon. There were still long hairs over his ears, the front was uneven, and she cut a jagged line in his hair. In the end, she said “sorry, he was moving”. I left out of pure frustration, and I won’t be back. My main issues are- I didn’t request that stylist. Why are my son and I having to wait for her to finish with another client when I didn’t have a preference who completed the service? As far as I’m concerned (and I’ve worked in the industry) the client who is waiting the longest is helped first. Right? Apparently not. The second thing that really got to me- the stylist blaming her poor skills on my son’s movement. This salon is “for kids”- a stylist who specializes in working with children should be a little bit more tolerant, and able to adapt. The final thing- there were several signs hung up all over the wall saying “if you’re even five minutes late, we cancel your appointment”. So, what I’m gathering is that my time as a customer is invaluable. Stylists can’t be flexible enough to wait five minutes, but expect my 3 year old to wait 45 minutes. Completely ridiculous, I’ll find a new “place for kids”.

I brought my son in for a hair cut, not only did the hairdresser rush through the appointment/ my son complained about pain the entire time. His hair cut was very uneven so I had to fix it myself. We left very unhappy with the cut. (Hair dresser is named Arnise) We usually see Kristi but she was unavailable. We have never had an issue until this visit
