When I made the appointment for both of my kids, the woman that confirmed my appointment gave me the incorrect time. So I showed up early and had to wait well over my actual scheduled appointment time. I was appalled by the amount of time I had to wait since 2 of the stylists were just sitting by the receptionist talking and ignoring us. When we final got seated for the haircuts, the stylist didn't introduce herself and didn't listen to anything I said I wanted for their hair. She just cut it how she felt it should be cut. I told her to leave a little on the top because my son likes to style his hair into a Mohawk and if She could style it that way for today, he was excited for a Mohawk that day. Instead she kept cutting and then styled it how she wanted. When my other son was getting his hair done he was whining and crying alot, so I totally understand it's hard to cut children's hair but to turn his head she had her finger on his throat and pushed and yanked him and began cutting more hair off. I said "okay, he's done!!" and took him out of the chair. She started following him with clippers to cut more hair and he began screaming and crying more. His hair looked totally fine but she wouldn't leave him alone. I will NEVER go back to Cookie Cutters in Algonquin again.

April kept on talking while cutting my son's hair. Saying my sons hair is too long. I didn't notice that she missed some of my son's sideburns.

Haircut looks bad and asked to get fixed but didn’t fix right areas. Choppy and half ass. I traveled almost an hour for the first haircut experience to be unsatisfying

My son was not having all that great of a time getting his first haircut which I can understand can be difficult for the ladies cutting hair. However the hair dresser did nothing to comfort my son, she didn’t even say hi to him, the other lady who was there with her trying to help console my son was very nice and encouraged him that it was ok. You can tell the hair dresser just wanted to get the haircut done and over with as fast as she could without comforting him.

Horrible experience! Made my 2 year old son and I wait for 25 mins past our appointment time, as I sat there watching the child in front of us get TOP NOTCH service. Then once it was our turn, she rushed through, was rough handling when cutting his hair, and didn't try to calm him down at all when he was screaming/crying. Knowing it was his first time using clippers, you think she'd try to make the experience pleasant for him so he's not terrified in the future. And she had an attitude on top of it all. Won't be going back to them EVER again!

Uneven haircut. Like completely crooked across his forehead. I asked for a fade and it’s buzzed with a 2 up towards the top and then just long. Even the buzzed portion is uneven. So horrible. I’m really upset.
