Mimi is always so wonderful to my boys. We have been coming here since February, once before pandemic and twice since pandemic. She is so patient and kind with my son who struggles with his mask. He has sensory issues and his anxiety can escalate quickly if something is physically bothering him. I appreciate her being able to deescalate the situation quickly and make him comfortable. My other son can be difficult to convince and she has TWICE been able to get him to sit for her after he said he was refusing a cut. They look adorable as usual but the special part of this recent visit is that yesterday they said, “We want to go see Mimi for a haircut!” Wow!!! Thank you for being so kind to our family during these times, Mimi. We will see you again in a few months!

I can not thank Cookie cutters salon at Algonquin enough! Mimi did an amazing job styling my daughters hair. I showed her a picture of the hair style I wanted for them (as flower girls) and she did it beautifully!! Also, a special thanks to the owner of the salon who was very kind and friendly. I would definitely recommend this salon!

We had Mimi and she was amazing. My son loves her. She even made my daughter feel welcomed. I have never had a bad experience here. How you make the kids feel like they are the only ones there every time is wonderful.

I was happy with the haircut but felt there could have been more precautions to keep everyone safe from Covid. For example seats were not always cleaned before next use and limit to only one parent to enter with child.
