The person that was cutting my sons hair was NOT good with children. She just threw the cape on him without explaining what shew was doing. Of course he freaked out and took it off, she just kept putting it on and never once stopped to explain what she was doing to him. She then started cutting his hair, again not explaining what she was doing, she just started doing it. He was screaming and crying the whole time and she never once stopped to explain the process/speak to him or to let me calm him down. She ended up cutting his ear a little, which I understand happens sometimes but she just handed me a tissue to stop the bleeding and kept going. He's had a few haircuts in his short 3 years and has never had an issue because each time the person was personable and great with kids. She had no warmth to her and honestly should not be working at a place specific for children. I wish I got her name but unfortunately did not. The person the appointment was scheduled with online (Amanda) was not there. We went on Friday, March 18th at 5pm and there were two women working there at the time - one blonde and one brunette. It was the brunette that cut my sons hair. I hope that helps and she can receive some proper training on how to interact with children.

Hack job on the hair-would’ve been better if I cut it myself. Was given a hard time for being 5 minutes late, when every hair stylist was cutting someone’s hair when we arrived.

Our stylist rushed us and wouldn’t even pick the show for my son. She gave me the remote to rush us through. My second child was having a hard time and she didn’t offer any kind words or give him a reprieve during his haircut. I had to ask forcefully to give him a min to breathe and calm down. I paid for 2 haircuts and didn’t receive quality on either. She kept rushing us and didn’t give my kinds a second to acclimate to the environment. Why have a kids salon to cater to them who may be difficult to cut and talk nicely to them and take your time when someone is rude and rushing. We have been visiting for a few years but now we will never be back. Not worth the $50+ dollars. I had to trim both of them at home anyways.

The woman working Sunita not only took 3 personal calls on her cell phone and Apple Watch while cutting my sons hair, but she also did not listen to what I wanted his hair cut like. She chopped it up and messed up the back side of his head along with the side burns. She was not nice and it took her 30 + minutes to cut his hair. I had an appointment for my next son at 9:30 but she didn’t even finish with my first son until 950. My 2nd sons patience had run dry and was not going to sit there for another 30+ minutes to get his hair cut. Will not return especially if this woman is still there to cut hair.

My son’s first haircut was not the experience I had hoped for and we left extremely disappointed. The stylist seemed tired and irritated. She had a hard time following instructions. I had to tell her 3 or 4 times what we wanted done. In the end the sides were choppy and the top and back was butchered completely uneven. She literally started shaving the middle of his head out of frustration because she couldn’t get it right. We had to shave his head completely when we got home because it looked so bad. They also put him in a pink car with a mermaid cape which wasn’t great for a boys first haircut pictures.

I am unsure who cut jacksens hair…I believe it was Helen (very long hair) she was absolutely horrific. Rude. Cut half my sons hair off in the back and blamed him for moving. I’m sorry but aren’t you used to children moving? And then to not even say sorry or offer a discount was ridiculous. I know kids aren’t perfect but this is unacceptable. I have a wedding in 2 weeks and my sons hair is a disaster. Please advise how you will fix this situation.
