Alexander G is that rare salon that delivers more than expected. The stylists are experienced and highly skilled in every mode, actually listen, and most important, tailor every cut and color to fit the clients' needs and profile. The elegant and erudite Alexander is usually on site to offer hands-on advice or cuts and color. A hidden gem in downtown SF. For years, I waited until I went to New York to go to my old stylist. Not any more.

Great cut and balance of time spent making sure what I would like, checking in, yet working quickly. It was completed within my lunch hour which I really appreciated. No wait time, very friendly place.

This was my first time seeing Dana(sp?)and it was a fabulous experience. I never know what to do with my hair, but he had some suggestions for easy, subtle changes that made a big difference. I really love this little salon; it's chic but unpretentious and the people there are very talented. Thanks for being awesome, Alexander G - see you in a couple of months!
