First of all, the stylist with whom I booked my appointment left for the day before we even arrived and we were early. Second, the stylist that was there told me I was a distraction for trying to help her get my son to hold still and that I needed to go sit down. Nothing changed when I did sit down so then she chose to share her opinion that the reason he didn't sit still is because I don't get his hair cut often enough and if I did he would learn to sit still. I've never met this woman, she doesn't know me, my budget, or my child's challenges with sitting still in any context. I don't appreciate this salon's disregard for my intentional scheduling with a specific stylist nor the unsolicited advice. It is unlikely I'll be coming back.

Both of my sons had 4:30 appointments. We were on time. The stylists were not. My son Bhodie (3) was nearly finished with his cut when a big chunk of hair fell on his face and got in his eyes and mouth. He then tried to lift his hands to get it out of his eyes, but his hands were under his cape and he couldn’t free them to clean his face off. He began crying (he never cries during cuts, he loves getting his haircut). I then asked the stylist, Nae, if we could take a break and get the hair out of his eyes. She said, “We can’t. I have a 5 o’clock. He can just keep crying.” So instead of pausing the haircut so I could help my son clear his eyes and stop his tears, she told me we had to continue because she had another appointment. It wasn’t my son’s fault that she was sitting on her cell phone when we walked into the appointment and we didn’t get started until 5 or 10 minutes past our scheduled time. Her lack of time management should not make my son suffer.

O scheduled my baby’s first hair cut package and the lady was rude from the beginning I was the one who said hello in the studio and she don’t interact with me or the baby. We received the hair cut and was horrible which we have to take the baby to another place and I never received the part of the package which is a certificate and a picture. I would never recommend this place and also it’s very dirty, there’s hair everywhere, they open at 10 and I was the first client and the place was already dirty with hair everywhere which that means they don’t sanitize and I’ll let the state board know about coming and check on this place.

After leaving I am realizing more and more things that made me upset about the way it went today. My son is 3 so if someone is cutting his hair I feel like patience and understanding is a must instead when he began to cry getting close to his ears it just felt like there was no sympathy there. And “okay I’ll just cut the top then” he’s still crying and I’m trying to calm him down. Then I felt the need to tell her that he hasn’t liked hair cuts for the past year and the last 2 times we have finally gotten over that to hopefully help her understand that he needs a little more attention or patience or understanding. I’m not coming back and I’m going to find someone and another facility that will take time and have more patience with him. I know my son he’s not scared of fearful of much not even the doctor but hair cuts are different and he’s been find the lat 2 times and I’m so upset with how this visit went.. I and upset bc i should have said something but I didn’t want to seem rude. But I know of there was a little more joy and patience and understanding. Letting him see it’s not scary and going slow he wouldn’t have never cried or at least stopped and been okay. Bc there was a lasco of understanding it caused my swim to freak out. Which caused for missed spots at round the ears and no styling. Which again was bc my son was freaking out but had it not been pushed to that point it could have been different. I guess I expect more from a place where it’s mainly kids cuts I expect more patience and it just lacked this time. I understand people have bad days but I have worked so hard to get my son to a point where he doesn’t cry and enjoys the visits and I’m really upset that this happened. I’m upset and just simply won’t be coming to a cookie cutters ever again. I just don’t want my money going to a business like this anymore. I’ll find one barber/stylist somewhere else that can better benefit from my money and business. There is not reason to call or have someone call me bc it’s not going to change anything. Hopefully this review will help manage better or hold someone more accountable but in not trying to get a discount or get someone in trouble but I want the business to know that bc of this you’ve lost my business and I won’t ever recommend.

Brittney was very rough with my son and would not stop telling him how to hold his head. He’s 3 and does not understand what she was telling him.
