Great “baby’s first haircut” experience!

My sister took both of my boys in to get their hair cut today at separate times by Carletta. Carletta is amazing at what she does. She’s patient, kind, and friendly. However, both times she was in there Kristi and another girl were having a gossip session not doing any work. The second time my sister was in there my son was screaming and crying about getting his hair cut. He hates getting his hair cut! Well my sister was holding his head for Carletta to try to make it a little easier for her. She (my sister) caught Kristi peeking around the corner of the counter LAUGHING at my son for screaming and crying!!!! I’m livid! My sister was so mad when she left there!!! She immediately called me to tell me. She said that it took everything in her power to keep her mouth shut. She didn’t want to upset my son more since he was already upset and crying! This is not how you do business! If you think it’s funny that kids cry, have a fear of getting their hair cut, and are upset you shouldn’t be in this profession! I will make sure that my friends and family that go in there do not go to KRISTI unless they want their kid laughed at! Completely rude and disrespectful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #onelividmother

This was our first time and I was not impressed. Our appointment was at 415. We arrived at 4:05pm and the store was packed with 2 stylist. They eventually got us checked in. At 430, the store was empty. The two stylists were discussing their schedule/covering a day while we sat and waited, 15 mins after appt time. I looked at my husband and said “I think they forgot we are here” as we set right in front of them. Literally acted like we were a bother. There was no apology for being crowded and running late. Once my child sat in chair, she asked us how we wanted the hair cut. Short on sides and back, longer on top. The stylist kind of spoke to my son, but not really. She left TWICE during the haircut for at least 5 mins to help ppl coming in. No apology for walking away. Hair got in my son’s eyes. She never once blew the hair dryer on him as she did the previous kid. Not even at the end to get the extra hair off of him. I had to ask her to. She did not introduce herself, but she was probably 5 foot 5, deal hair to her shoulders. She hated her job and was not personable or social. She should probably find another profession. Also, the other stylist who also ignored us and treated us as a bother, did not leave her kid she was giving a haircut to once. Haircut is ok. You could tell she just didn’t want to be there. Thank goodness it’s just hair and will grow back.
