My son is two years old and some change. He HATES getting his haircut. This was his fifth one. Normally we just have someone cut it until we're all exhausted and we just sorta accept that it's just hair and we live with it. Josie at Cookie Cutters in Canton, MI however knocked it out of the ballpark. My son fussed a couple of times, but like a ninja, Josie managed to soothe him or distract him and continue cutting. Okay, that analogy falls apart because ninjas don't soothe or distract. She was more like a magician. A hair magician doing an amazing sleight of hand cutting my kid's hair and I don't think he even really noticed too much. My wife and I will DEFINITELY go back and see Josie again. She was simply amazing. Like seriously, our kid hates this to the point where my wife and I rock, scissor, paper to decide who gets stuck with the awful task of taking him. Part of me wanted to hide the fact that Josie was so awesome, but I figured if I did that, then the kid would end up looking unintentionally punk rock again. Jose is GREAT!
