$70 for an updo is ridiculous - especially since it only took 30 minutes. The style did last and the hairdresser was wonderful to work with. BUT I will likely go to a salon that charges $40 or less and there are LOTS of them.

The atmosphere and establishment was clean and professional. The stylist made recommendations on my hairstyle based on the description I gave her of my dress. She showed me an Instagram picture of a different clients hair she had done in the past. I told her I did not want it to look like a prom updo and showed her a picture of a messier updo I preferred. My end result was ok but not even close to the picture I showed her. when she asked if I liked it or wanted any adjustments, I let her know one side needed more volume and she made a few comments about having to adjust the side. It just wasn't what I expected at a high end establishment. Overall she was pleasant.

Bimal is the best! I came in for a last minute, “emergency” color correction after highlights from another salon went horribly wrong. She saved my hair and made me feel so at ease which was so important to me after having such anxiety from my first appointment that day. I now have a stylist that I trust with my hair and will be going to her for any and all future appointments. Can not recommend highly enough!

Tina is amazing! She is so quick, but she gives the best haircuts I have ever gotten! The prices are higher than at average salons, but the results are more than worth it! If you are looking for a salon that is professional, clean, and has amazing stylist using state of the art equipment, look no farther than AALAM Salon in Plano on Preston Rd.

Michael for color & Tina for cuts. They are both excellent and really take the time to work with my particular style, look and hair type. They are not just whipping out “suburb hair.” Highly recommend!
