I have been coming here for 9 years and to walk in and be informed that after paying $190 for color that if I want my hair blow dried it will be $40’extra dollars. Not only is this an outrageous price for a blow out after paying for my color, but the overall lack of customer service and professionalism that I was not told when I called and booked the appointment speaks volumes to the greedyness of the ownership. To be notified by my stylist who is obviously mortified that they have to do managements dirty work, again speaks to the u professionalism of the owners. Taking business elsewhere

Made an appointment with Tina and came into the appointment looking like a hot mess. Tina worked her magic and she cut and texturized my hair into a sassy smart hairstyle. I have very course, thick hair and she knew just what to do to make it manageable and also help me grow it out from a pixie cut. Thank you, Tina! I’ll be back in 4 weeks! 😀

That was my first time at AALam the Salon. I was impressed that Kelly is so young but she’s talented. I love my hair. I didn’t give a comment too soon until today, because I wanted to make sure that I love my new hair. That’s too bad, I don’t live in Plano. I was there for work. But I want to make sure I will go to AALAM when i am in Plano again. Thank you Kelly! I hope I will see you again soon😍👍

I requested a specific person for a blowout. I arrived and found out that the person I requested no longer worked there. I was not contacted in advance to advise me of this. I would not have chanced an appointment with someone I had never received service from as I had a special occassion. The manager did apologize for not being contacted, but frankly that was not good enough.

Bimal was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She was kind, very helpful, knowledgeable, listened to what I was looking for and gave me exactly that. She even stayed after closing to make sure my hair was styled so I could see the true color. Thank you so much Bimal look forward to seeing you again!
