I wanted a new or updated hairstyle to that would flatter my features, and work with my individual hair challenges, not just be the latest trendy solution. After reading reviews for several salons in the area, I selected Aalam salon. The booking agent listened to my request and scheduled an appointment right away. Unfortunately, on the day of the appointment, the booking agent called shortly after 8 am to let me know that the stylist with whom I had been booked was sick. She offered an two alternatives, either of which would have been acceptable to me. I was able to take advantage of the first option which was to keep an appointment on the same day, just at a different time. During the appointment, the stylist, Mansour, listened carefully to my concerns about my current hairstyle and offered several solutions for my consideration. He was very attuned to my questions as he cut and styled my hair. Overall I was very, very pleased with the salon and the service I received. I've already booked the follow up appointment.

The minute you walk in the door of Alams , you are greeted with warm friendly smiles and respect. I feel they appreciate your business and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The atmosphere is full of positive energy. The quality of service is superb...I have never been disappointed in a hair color or cut. Staff members are all very professional and cheerful. It is obvious to me, the owners have a lot of pride in their business and therefore uphold the highest standards for a beauty salon.
