miss elaine did an excellent job in my haircut..i just noticed in haircutting the supervisor does most of the job..the students do mostly dyeing and blowdrying...they have difficulty in styling...this is just based on my experience since ive been going to the salon..

I received a facial. The technique and foundation of the service was spot on. I could tell they're being taught well however it's very obvious their students and still learning. The touch and pressure was so slight and felt insecure that it was irritating instead of relaxing. The instructor was wonderful, the student was as sweet as ever but I did feel that the price tag was quite high given the service. Also , when I get a professional facial I have no downtime and I'm not ever left alone and hands are on my body at all times. My facials usually include feet, hands, arms ,neck and chest massage. I felt the service was incredibly lacking in that area. I can't say that I would recommend to a friend. I would rather spend $20 extra dollars and go elsewhere. If the price were in the $20 area that would be a different story but it's not so that's my feedback.

I noticed when I first walked in 15min. before my appt time that it smelled like sulpher. Stuffy and warm. No air. Then the bathroom -could have been cleaner. Stylist was very nice, however I felt like she washed my hair 1ti. then used a clarifier on it. She said she had washed me 2 times..i think. The wash was very quick. It was the first time she did Ethnic hair she said. I was hoping a supervisor would come by to make sure she was using the hot iron correctly to receive the best results but no supervisor ever came by. She was pretty good over all so it was ok. Times past they have gotten my hair straighter at the root when supervisor does it.

The service was pleasant and the esthetician was professional and personable. However, she repeatedly left the room to get the necessary procedure supplies. I thought the treatment was rather short also. But overall I'm happy with the service/

My first time at the academy, I was there for a root touch up. Very happy with the results. I guess the only negative thing I would like to share is the young lady that did my hair very sweet and patient she had extremely long nails which made it very hard for her to work kept dropping things and while washing my hair it was a challenge to properly get my hair cleaned.
