I appreciate how quick the stylist was with my son since he was very nervous. She did a great job and was very fast.

Ms. Dana is the best with Malachi. Every time we come see her she greets Malachi with a smile and is so patient with Malachi with all he's crying and moving throughout the entire haircut. We receive so many compliments every time Ms. Dana cuts his hair.

The actual haircut experience was fantastic! Our stylist is very talented and did a great job with the cut. However, I have two things: 1. We got there at 2pm for our 2:15pm appointment and we weren’t seen until 2:45pm. I recognize that it was Sunday and many kids were getting haircuts but it was still an uncomfortable wait time for my child. 2. I had scheduled a wash and cut for my child. When we got in the chair, our stylist initially said she wouldn’t have time to wash her hair. I gently insisted that it was in need of a wash (it was a same day scheduled appointment, otherwise I would have washed it at home). The stylist asked if I’d be ok with just a shampoo and leave-in conditioning spray, I agreed and then she set to work. Besides those two things, my child was very comfortable with the wash and cut and styling. Our stylist clearly knew what she was doing and my child LOVED the way her hair looked afterward. I’d return simply because this stylist really does know how to cut hair. I’ll probably just try to choose a low-traffic day/time next time.

I made an appointment for yesterday morning at 9:30. Packed up my grandson and drove over, arriving early at 9:15. The lights were out and the shop was closed. A sign on the door said "open at 10." We walked around and checked back at 9:30, 9:45, 10:00, and even 10:15. Lights were still out and shop was closed, so we drove home. :( (It's not easy to pack up a 2-year-old!) Made another appointment for today at 10:30, and this time had a great experience.

We had a very challenging toddler and the stylist did a great job for the situation. The haircut likely would of looked better if the stylist had wet the hair first. Also I ended up holding my child on my lap to tolerate the haircut. I was covered in hair after that didn't wipe off, so in the future will ask to wear one of the plastic wraps to cover my clothes (hope that's an option to have that in adult sizes).
