At Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids children get to enjoy more than the typical salon booster seat. If this doesn’t make their haircut experience happy, our stylists are equipped with bubbles, suckers and balloons to put your child at ease through the entire haircut experience.


We strive to make the haircut experience, whether it is their first or their 15th, a fun and memorable one. Haircuts are painless, literally, and we want them to be the same, figuratively, for parents and their children. It makes no sense the schedule an appointment for 2 kids at the same time only to wait 40 minute for the second child to be seen. If you are busy, restrict your scheduling system or get more staff. My intent was to schedule a haircut for both kids at the same time and spend 30 min all together in the salon, instead it was an hour and half almost. Stylists are super nice and professional for the most parts, it’s just the wait and scheduling issue

The haircut and stylist was great. However, we’ve been going for a while and always only had one stylist in the shop and the only clients we come in contact with are the appointments before and after us, which is good because my child and I both have immune issues and can’t be exposed. When we went there were 4 stylists working and the shop was absolutely packed with people, which was made worse as the stylists were running late so we were exposed way more than we can be. I had checked the app before booking and only saw one stylist working that day, so I’m upset. Also, they put product on my child’s hair without asking (they have never used products before; just water) and they are highly allergic. They had a rash and itching and it took over 8 washing’s to get most of the product out, and her rescue medications to get the reaction down. The hair was great, the stylist was kind. But I won’t be going there again if there is a bunch of people and they put product on without asking

Hello. I received your comments about your latest visit. I suspect that you have previously come for an appointment during the week and not a on a weekend like this most recent visit. Our weekends are our busiest time and we will have the full staff of 4-5 stylists working at 1 time and we will see close to 100 clients during a Saturday or Sunday. I looked through your children's files and there is no note about an immunocompromised situation. However, now that we know, I strongly suggest that you make your child's appointments for the weekdays. We typically will have 1-2 stylists working, depending on the day. Monday and Tuesday are busy days, especially in the afternoons. The same for Friday afternoon. We usually only have 1 stylist in the mornings and 1 in the morning and afternoon on Wednesday. Those are the best days for you and your children given your health concerns. Please let me know if you have any questions. I will add that the crowd situation you saw will be the same at any children's salon on a Saturday or worse. Thanks again for bringing this to our attention.

I really wish I could give a higher rating. The stylists were absolutely fantastic, but the receptionist was a bit rude and didn’t really seem to know what she was doing. As a result, my experience was a mixed bag and overall a bit mediocre.

I am sorry that you had a mixed visit at Cookie Cutters today. The young ladies who are the receptionists are brand new and started this weekend. They are still learning the point of sale system and managing our clients at the normal Cookie Cutters standards. I am sure they were not intentionally rude but were likely focused on the task of getting you checked in or out in a crrect and timely manner. Both of them are high school students and are eager to make a good impression. I will provide appropriate feedback to both of them to help them get better. I appreciate your input and we appreciate your business.
