Typically we love our experience at cookie cutters. Overall we have good experiences. Sadly our appointment today our hairstylist Dearia came into the building 30 minutes after our appointment was suppose to start. When she came in she didn’t acknowledge why she was late or apologize then rushed my sons haircut without styling it or making sure it all looked good. I totally understand the rush and demand of the holidays but I would have loved at least some aknowledgement that my appointment was so delayed or even after being so late spending the time to give my son a quality cut. Or even try to interact with him Other then telling him to not move his head. We normally schedule with Tomia and she is amazing! Sad she was booked out so we couldn’t have her cut my sons hair again. She’s typically takes her time to make sure it looks great, good at giving stylist advice and good with kids.

The haircut was not at all what we asked for, even though we reiterated what we wanted at least 3 times. Will not be going back.

We brought our baby for her first hair cut experience, and our stylist barely said two words to her when we put her in the seat. In fact, she seemed annoyed that we asked her to remove some hair that we saw in and around the seat. Then, she didn't speak to the baby at all the whole time as she was screaming and crying hysterically. The hair cut itself was good, but we came to this place because it seemed kid friendly, but that was the last thing I noticed. Our baby was doing ok at first, but if the stylist had at least made some type of interaction with her, she might not have been scared.

I made an online appointment for my son for 4:15pm. I received an email confirmation for 4:15pm. My son is 14 months old so I did not want to spend a lot of time in the waiting area. We arrived 10 minutes before our appointment. The person that checked me in was not the person that was scheduled to cut my son’s hair. She stated that the computer is showing that our appointment is at 4:30pm. I attempted to show her my email confirmation and explain that what she had was not accurate. She was very dismissive and rude. She didn’t bother to look at my email confirmation and walked away from me mid sentence. She asked the person who was scheduled to cut my son’s hair if she loved appointments around and asked her to deal with me. The person scheduled to cut my son’s hair didn’t have a response. I drove 90 minutes to the closest Cookie Cutter to get my son’s hair done so I wasn’t going to leave. We waited a total of 30 minutes before our turn. I would have accepted the situation if someone had apologized for the mix up but no one did. Instead they were rude and dismissive and offered no explanation. I will not be coming back.
