The overall experience left something to be desired from past experiences at this location. We waited longer than necessary for service as the stylist available felt the need to put away suckers at that exact moment. The stylist that did help us made it clear that she was not thrilled with the fact that we had want a wash and a cut. This was made even more evident when part of the way through drying my daughter's hair she asked if I really needed it totally dry. When I said I guess not but could we braid it she quickly responded with, "I do not do French braids". At that point I felt very uncomfortable and offered to just braid it myself. When we went up to check out they were up at the counter discussing the schedule with who I believe was some sort of manager. None of these people were very approachable and I was heartbroken at how disappointing this experience was. I have been to this location numerous times with my son and had wonderful experiences each time. This being my daughters really true first experience I would have preferred the individuals I had seen in the past.

The girls didn’t seem to really care if we were there ior not. I come here often and am always pleased with thr service . This time she just wanted to get done. Never asked if the cut was ok. Never even said she was done just sent my granddaughter over and she walked up behind the counter. I really wanted her bangs shorter but was never given the chance to even say that. I was very disappointed.

When we first got there my son was excited about the environment. He went on the slide, played in the game area and looked around at the chairs. Once the cape was placed on him he didn’t know what it was for (2nd hair cut ever) and then he took it off. I decided to leave it off because he didn’t want it on. Two people kept asking how old he was. Like that made a difference. He was crying, didn’t want to sit, I held him down so he could get a hair cut. The lady cutting his hair Stella was upset at him for moving around. She made me feel stupid because he was upset and didn’t like the razor noise or having his hair cut. She didn’t try and soothe him, just tried to turn a tv on that he didn’t care about. She just kept making comments like “he’s head banging and scissors are dangerous”, “he’s head thrashing”, “I can’t cut his hair like this”, etc. Yeah I can see that you don’t have to say it out loud. She decided to end the cut because he was crying and moving around. He was pretty upset, but her attitude could have been nicer. She seemed miserable and wasn’t there for the kids. She didn’t have to keep saying, comments about him and how he was acting. It just wasn’t pleasant and didn’t make me feel good because it wasn’t fun for him. I couldn’t imagine her working with a special needs child if she can’t entertain a 3 year old having a fit. He just wanted to be joked with and talked too. Sadly to say I won’t be back and was pretty excited about this place. The lady checking me out did say “don’t worry about it, it happens all the time” so that was nice but Stella just was in a bad mood and didn’t help the situation. Sorry we were such a problem.

We have been going to this location for years and have mostly had great experiences until today. My daughter wanted a few inches cut off her length and some face framing layers in the front. She’s had a very similar cut in the past done there. The stylist seemed very uncomfortable with doing what we wanted and said in her “professional opinion” we should not do it because it was “basically bangs”… which is definitely not what we asked for. We asked for a few layers starting below her chin. I got the feeling she just didn’t know how to cut girls hair properly and wanted to talk us out of it. We decided to just get some of the length cut off and a few layers towards the bottom which she barely did and only on one side. The other side is completely straight and the rest she literally just cut an inch off straight across. I wish there was another stylist there because I would have asked for them to do it but she was the only one there. I have had to schedule an appointment elsewhere to get it fixed because it’s not even cut evenly and my daughter was literally crying her eyes out in the car because she hated it. This was supposed to be her back to school haircut and it was the biggest disappointment. We definitely will not be back again after our experience today. If she was not comfortable doing that cut she should have said that instead of completely wasting my money and devastating my child.

Haircuts were terrible. The stylist did all three of my girls and all three have needed long hairs that did not get cut, cut. These were by far the worst haircuts they’ve ever received. She did one of my daughters hair in less than five minutes and didn’t even have me check it. One other daughter I asked it to be cut a bit shorter and she basically told me it would dry shorter which I’m fully aware of. I do not feel like I had an option to ask her to do anything further. Also was asked how I wanted to tip. Cash or card. I always tip but these haircuts definitely did not warrant a tip. Do not think I’ll be back. It’s a shame bc we go regularly and I have multiple children.
