We -- and our child -- love Cookie Cutters and have gone there for the past two years. However, the Dayton location is in need of better management. Once online booking became an option, we started scheduling our child's appointments to help ensure speedy service. However, the last time we arrived, we waited 20 minutes -- despite having an appointment -- and had to leave because it was clear we weren't going to be served any time soon. It's fine to take walk-ins, but you either need two hairstylists present (there was only one on this occasion) or you need to keep in mind if you have an appointment coming in the next few minutes, and therefore tell the walk-in they have to wait until after the appointment, even if that start time is a few minutes away. If you can't complete the walk-in's appointment before the scheduled appointment time, it shouldn't be started. That's the risk you take as a customer doing a walk-in versus a scheduled time. We'll continue to use Cookie Cutters, but I'd love to see it better managed and organized. The stylists themselves are always happy and helpful and do good work.

There was confusion about the appt time and how to find notes in the system. The person who did the cut didn't cut it very well I even had to ask her to cut around my sons ears. Just overall wasn't impressed.

I’m just very disappointed in my child’s haircut. He still has long hairs in that back and the front of his hair isn’t even.

Got a baby's first haircut pacakage advertised on website comes with a picture well we didn't get that. The air was broken in the store. Lots of kids in a hot store not very professional. The girl at the counter seemed new didn't have a clue what was going on.

The stylist showed up to the business 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment. The girl checking us in was polite, but the stylist didn’t seem to care that we had to wait for her. I was also unaware that I had to sign in on a piece of paper, even though the first girl told us we were all checked in. So, she said if I had signed in on the paper, she would have gotten to us quicker, instead of walking around the salon for several minutes after arriving late. The haircut was just fine, I have no complaints there. However customer service could be improved.

I’m not very happy with this place this is like the 3rd time this has happened to me where I make a appointment online and I call to confirm and then I get to the store and my stylist that I requested and confirmed appointment with isn’t there or her scheduled changed even though I called and confirmed with someone about it it’s very irritating and shouldn’t be happening
