We love Cookie Cutters and have been coming since my son was 1 and he's 8 now. My daughter gets 1-2 cuts a year also, and she is 4. We have usually had a good experience, and it's not that the experience was bad. While we were waiting our turn, the lady who was going to cut my son's hair informed me we had not paid for our last visit in front of multiple people. She came up to where I was sitting, and I know that I would never leave any place without paying. I knew I paid on my credit card. So the whole time, I frantically spent searching through the last month of credit card records, and I HAD ACTUALLY PAID back on November 23. I'm just frustrated and embarrassed that the computer had no record of this, but I remembered and knew that I payed. I don't appreciated being accused and embarrassed like that unnecessarily when we've been coming here for years. My son's haircut was just fine, but hope this never happens again to anyone!

My only complaint is that I scheduled an appointment online and still had to wait 1/2 hour to be seen when we arrived at the salon. The lady that did the hair cut was great with both my kids (5yo and 3yo).

This was the first time I had ever taken my son to Cookie Cutters for a haircut. I thought it was a nice place to get a child’s haircut, and the lady who cut my son’s hair did well with all of his squirming around. The only thing I didn’t like was the cleanliness. We were the second appointment after opening, the first in this particular chair, and the chair still had hair in it and on it from the day before. The floor was clean, but I would think that the staff would brush off and vacuum the chairs at the end of each day.

This was our third visit to this salon and this was our first poor experience. The website to book an appointment was down most of the day and I left a voicemail that wasn't returned. I finally was able to book an appointment with the stylist we had seen in the past. We had to wait 15 minutes past our appointment time and then someone else was assigned to cut my son's hair. The person cut it uneven even after I asked them to fix it on the spot. I don't have time to turn around and go back to make them fix it. It took a while to get help with check out and the employee at the desk wasn't very helpful or friendly. I'll still go back because we had previous good experiences but I will be more assertive about what stylist we see next time especially for the price of a kid cut.

Sherry is awesome and does a great job on my children's cuts. Price wise I think for a very small trim to back of hair for an infant $10 is outrageous!!
