Worst haircut experience ever and I will not return. The girl who cut my son’s hair was extremely sick (sneezing all around him and blew her nose several times during the haircut and should not have been at work or around children). She kind of butchered his hair and I asked for her to fix about six or seven spots. It looked rough. I was about to cry. She asked at the end if it looked good and I said “uh, decent” with a grimace. So she took him down and rang me up. I didn’t want to pay, but I did. Definitely didn’t tip. I don’t know if she had ever cut anyone’s hair before but I could tell she had never had any training. Anyways, I just wanted to get away from the germs as fast as I could. I coated my sons head in hand sanitizer and that actually made the hair cut look a tad better since it matted it down. Although the girl shouldn’t have been at work and didn’t know how to cut hair, I would have to blame the poor quality on management. We got there right when it opened and sat down in seats covered in hair from the previous day(s). Bad service, bad environment, unhealthy, and gross. Like I said, will not be returning and will warn my friends not to go there as well because it would be cruel to let them go through that as well. I will either cut my son’s hair myself from now on or take him to fancy salons where professionally trained people work. Yikes.

Th lady who cut my son’s hair tonight was short tempered, impatient & did a horrible job! My son has super sensitive skin & I told her this at the beginning of his haircut & she used a gown with a huge hole in it so the hair fell right on his skin & irritated him- every time I asked her to use the blow dryer she refused & just used baby powered on him - which I didn’t like because he was covered in it! And not to mention some kids have allergies to baby powder! I felt like she didn’t know what she was doing the whole time & my son’s haircut was a disaster. I am very disappointed with this visit & have been to Cookie Cutters many times before & never had a complaint. All the hairstylist was concerned about was getting him done fast and moving on to the next customer. Any time my son would move she would say “come on I’ve got to get your hair cut!”

No one was at the location when it was supposed to open at 1100. We weren't greeted at all and I was told my son who isn't used to haircuts would be given someone with experience. Instead we got a very rude, overweight lady that cut his ear because well he just needed to sit still she said. We won't ever go back....

We arrived promptly for our appointment, we were greeted by a very unprofessional hair stylist. Her mannerisms, attitude, appearance and behavior was disgusting. The location was empty but turning away potential customers who were walking in, in the rain. The woman cutting my sons hair walked away to talk to the girl at the desk who was turning people away. I dont know why they needed to speak in the middle of my son's haircut but it really ticked me off. my son has autism, doesn't sit still for very long and he's only five. Who the heck walks away in the middle of giving a child a haircut? Its supposed to be a hair cutting place that is for kids only.. why are they crappy to the kids??? She man handled my kid all aggressive because he wouldnt hold still to trim his ears. my husband had to tell her to back off and we left. We paid almost $20 FOR a kids experience haircut, that was horrible.

Our appointment was at 5:45 for both our sons, at 6:15 a walk in customer was taken before us because it was a 1 child appointment so the "brothers could go at the same time". At 6:30 1 of our sons was started, while the other son got passed up again for a customer who had just arrived requesting the other stylist (who wasn't helping my son). When making an appointment we should not have to wait an hour for service, especially when 2 others were helped before us. Sadly this experience has ruined our 6 year relationship with cookie cutters and we will be finding a new salon for our children. If you cannot provide good customer service & honor appointments we choose to go elsewhere. The reason we make appointments is because typically the salon is under staffed and walk-in wait times are 1-2 hours. As you can imagine, waiting that long with young children is not fun for anyone. Tonight we made an appointment and still had to wait the hour.

Wasn’t very friendly and was very rushed. Seemed annoyed about me showing her a photo of the haircut I wanted.
