Jeanine, I never wrote a review yet, but the salon was very busy tonight 1/18/17. Anna was busy. No one at the desk answering phones around 7:00-7-30pm. No one around at the register. Harry checked out a client, no one around to check me out. Anna asked Lindsay? to do it and she didn't know how to check out nor make an appointment for me. Anna had a haircut waiting for her as soon as she was done with me, but she had to check me out. The guy waiting for a haircut got inpatient and said he had to leave. I told him to wait, Anna was almost done with me. Also this haircut got a color first, when his bell rang, while Anna was cutting my hair, no one was available to wash his hair, everyone was busy. You NEED to hire people that can help, work the computer, make appointments, and work the register. What does Lindsay do? Just sweep up, get water, coffee,tea, drape clients? Teach her to work the register and computer to make appointments. Anna shouldn't have to ask Lindsay to help her, she should be proactive, see what is needed and just do it! She sees how busy everyone is, she should just ask Anna, Harry, Grace etc. what they need and how she can help. I don't blame that guy for wanting to leave, no one around to shampoo him, plus then he had to wait for Anna to cut his hair. No one helps Anna with her clients when she needs help. BTW Heather took care of me and shampooed my hair just fine, but then she had her own client and she couldn't man the desk. And Anna always takes care of me perfectly. You need to hire more COMPETENT help though to help your operators. Can you guess who this is!? I'm sure you know this is MaryLou. I'm only telling you so you can work on improving these issues. You need to fix problems and retain your dedicated clients and try to get new clients to come to your place. If someone was new and saw the way the salon was operating tonight, they wouldn't be returning.
