I really enjoy going to The Fine Men's Salon. the person who cuts my hair is great! The salon is clean, professional and friendly. Except for the receptionist. I would have given all 9's or 10's in my responses, except for the receptionist's behavior. I cant remember his name, and I dont want to guess the wrong name. This person has been there for a while and is snooty, acting as if he's bothered that I have come in for an appointment. He will never address me and will wait several minutes before even looking up. At times, I've walked away and just sat down. Honestly, he acts as if he was working in a pretentious, upscale salon. Palm Springs is too friendly for that behavior.

Good Providers. Reception sometimes pushes into forced choices. I may not always want the same hair cut. I asked change for $20 to leave tip and was given 2 10’s For $35/service. LISTEN, LISTEN. LISTEN before knee jerk dismissal.

Thank you for the feedback. As part of our standard procedure, we ask the guest if they want to rebook their next appointment. 99% of the time, they request to book the same service. Of course, we are more than happy to offer other services and do so upon request. Regarding making change, I can't speak to what our front desk person understood. Not sure why this gentleman is doing waxing. This is not what I am used to with the other guy and maybe he is off today but this was a bit of a train wreck. He didn't leave the wax on long enough and then was taking it off with his fingernails. The wax was too hot and therefore he had to use a blow dryer to cool it down once it was on my skin... not good. I guess I need to find out who is working on the day that I make my appointment. I also got home and found tons of wax still in my nose.
