I have had 3 hair cuts at your salon and paid $35 for the first two. Suddenly , as I was leaving the third time, they told me my hair cut cost $55. When I registered online I checked the box for a standard hair cut of $35. However, they said that women had to pay $55/ hair cut now. I feel this is quite discriminatory since my hair is as short as most men’s hair. I so like Miranda and think she gives a great hair cut. I would like to continue seeing her and hope that we can come to some agreement as to your price for women’s hair cuts.

As Owners of the salon, we would like to address your concerns below. I can assure you we do not discriminate against women in our salon. As you are aware, we are a men’s salon. That doesn’t mean women aren’t welcome. As a repeat customer, you know that women are always welcome! What it does mean is that we specialize in men’s cuts and styles. Our pricing is based on required time and services. The haircut you selected online is our Standard Men’s Haircut (see our website) which starts at $35. That's our basic, no frills cut and is completed in roughly 30 minutes. Again, I can assure you that the price is the same for both men and women for the same service. On occasion, guests have requested more services than what the standard men’s cut offers. We have found that has typically averaged 55 minutes and that is why our front desk staff mentioned a starting price of $55. When we discovered you only got the basic cut, you were only charged the Standard $35. Going forward, as long as you are only requesting the basic, no frills, 30 minutes service, the cost will continue to be $35. Let us know if you have any further questions.

I was very excited to return for a haircut with Adam, who did a great job on my hair only 4 weeks ago. However, Adam had no idea who I was and didn’t remember ever cutting my hair. Very disappointed

I recently moved to the area and was referred to Palm Spring's Fine Men's Salon by some friends of mine. I decided to book an appointment for an Exclusive Men's Haircut after reading some reviews and visiting the website. It seemed to be the exact salon/experience I was looking for. Upon arrival there was no reservation because I hadn't confirmed online or received an email stating so. The gentleman working the front desk was very accommodating and offered me an appointment but 3 hours later with another stylist and for a Standard Men's Haircut. After confirming I was a local, I also booked my future appointment with the stylist/service I had originally chosen. After the haircut, product and styling (included with a Standard Men's Haircut) wasn't offered. I inquired about a shampoo service but was informed that it's not included with the standard cut. You would think as a prospective future client a shampoo would have been offered in lieu of no product or styling. Not to mention, my hair is only an inch long and the wash bowl is literally directly behind the chair where you receive your haircut. I was pleased with the service I received but was just expecting a higher level of customer service than what was received.

Hi Kevin – I left you a voicemail message based on your request to be contacted directly. Additionally, I’m glad to hear that you were happy with the service you received, even though that wasn’t the ideal service you wanted. I discussed this with the staff and I understand that you didn’t actually complete the online booking transaction and that’s why it wasn’t appearing on our books. I’m sorry about that but as you know, we tried to accommodate. Unfortunately, we were almost completely booked on June 24 and only had one spot open for a Standard Haircut. That’s a 30 minute service which is why we couldn’t offer the wash, conditioner and hot towel service (typically 45 minutes). It appears you cancelled the future appointment you referenced below so I’m sorry if you don’t plan on returning. I would like to do whatever we can to remediate the issue.
