This was our third visit to Cookie Cutters in Mahwah, and this was, by far, the BEST experience I've had so far. My son is about to be two, so as you can guess, he was NOT very happy about getting a haircut. He cried and/or screamed throughout the entire haircutting experience. Kristen was incredibly patient, helpful, cheery, and professional. I tried to remain as calm as possible, for my son's benefit, but my fiancee was basically losing it. Kristen assured us that it was OK, she was fine, everything was fine, and proceeded to cut my son's hair through tears, snot, and screams. We took breaks, we walked around the salon, and Kristen even attempted to finish up his cut while I held him. I really believe that if we went to a regular salon, or barber, we would NOT be welcome back. I will continue to use Cookie Cutters because even after the experience we had yesterday, they will welcome us with open arms next time. Kristen showed us such professionalism and compassion, and I couldn't be more grateful.
