We have come to Cookie Cutter's numerous times over the past couple years, and all 3 of my daughters have gotten hair cuts there. Today, there was only one staff member working, and she appeared to be clearly stressed. There was one boy getting ready to get his haircut when we walked in today, so it was not very busy. The environment was not clean today as it has been in the past. Usually, it is very tidy and well kept and has a pleasant feel with music quietly playing in the background. Today, it was completely, uncomfortably quiet. There was hair everywhere. It was very clear that the floor had not been swept in some time. There were piles of hair under and around the play set that made me uncomfortable for me to let my daughter play there while we were waiting. And, the play set itself appeared to be quite unclean. When it was time for my 3 year old to get her hair cut, I walked back to the chair with her, and there were hair clippings all over each station's chair and floor...clearly the floor had not been swept at all today. Then, the hair cutter asked my 3year old how she wanted her hair cut, and never consulted with me. I just had to step in and share what we wanted. The haircut turned out fine, but I was very disappointed in the customer service and the cleanliness of the environment today. This was very different then what we have experienced in the past.

The atmosphere when we got to the salon was very hectic! There were kids there that weren't even customers kids, that were here r disturbing to the place!!! Not a very professional atmosphere at all!! The stylist was kind, but didn't even know how to download the frequent visitor card. That was not professional

this is the 3rd time we have received a subpar haircut. If my grandson had been fussing and fighting that would be one thing, but he was just sitting there watching Mickey Mouse. I have 2 haircuts left on my prepaid card and then we will be finding a new place for his haircuts. Too bad because he does so well there and loves to play on the slide while he is there.

I entered the location at 2:00pm. I recognized there would be a wait, it was crowded. Not once was it mentioned that on top of those I could see, there were SEVERAL with appointments ahead of me. By the time 4:00pm came around, my son was still haircut-less. Due to necessity, I stuck out the ridiculous wait time. I finally left, infuriated, at 4:30. I will not be returning. If it's busy and there are appointments, that's fine - but do not advertise walk-in friendly then when you have walk-ins fail to mention the wait time. The haircut itself was mediocre. I asked for input several times and basically got told whatever I wanted was fine. If that were the case, I wouldn't have asked for input! It was dirty as well which is understandable considering the volume, but my child had another child's locks of hair surrounding his feet clear as day. All in all, a very very rough experience. I've located a new stylist, and will not be returning - almost full punch card and all.

I happened to be in the area so I called and asked about walk in. The lady on the phone was rude with me, but my son needed a haircut so I came in anyway. Waited 15 minutes not bad. An employee just walked in to start her shift and took my son for his cut. I explained the haircut to her more than once and showed pictures for reference. I understand they keep info on the computer of the hair cut but that wasn’t what I asked for. He is supposed to have a Mohawk and be able to spike the top but she cut it all off with scissors. The trimming around the ears and neck are uneven. It look like this was the first time this lady ever gave a haircut. I’m so disappointed because I loved bring my son here. And now I’m not sure if I’ll ever return.
