Place needs a remodel, looks old and in need of updating

Person who was cutting my sons hair did not seem to know how to deal with a toddler, she kept pushing his hand down & telling him to face forward. Wasn’t very patient & made me not want to continue the cut. Until today I have had great experiences with other stylists.

My appointment was booked as a first baby hair cut. After the haircut, I asked the lady at the front desk if I was supposed to get a certificate or a lock of his hair? She told me that the computer told her it was just a regular haircut and told me I could go get some of his hair if I wanted. I told her it was okay and paid for the haircut. She told me again that I could just go get some of his hair off the floor. I didn’t have anything to put it in or anyway to take it home with me. She didn’t offer me any suggestions like a baggy or offer to make me a certificate either. I was almost in tears and didn’t want to cause a scene so I left. I fully regret not getting any of his hair for his first haircut but I wish something more would’ve been done to make the situation better. I looked back at my email and I was booked for a baby first cut and I attached a picture. It just wasn’t the experience I wanted for his first haircut.

My kids love cookie cutters for the giant dragon slide, fun “seats” and cartoons of their choice, and balloon! I love it for the quality hair cuts, very friendly stylists, and how wonderful they are with my kids!

We were there just yesterday afternoon for back to school cuts, and now I have to try to find another place to fix my sons hair before school because it’s completely lopsided. Which makes me sad because we have been coming to Cookie Cutters for years and years.
